Out of all the sports apps I’ve had the opportunity to download for basketball this is by far the worst app I’ve seen. If they just take a look at GameDay maybe they can have some good ideas instead of trying to be different for the sake of being different. The menus are confusing. In the tables screen you should be able to tap the team you want to go to instead of it just saying the team name. I’ve looked at other reviews and it seems to be a running issue that this app was not made with the user in mind. Every response I see from the creators are “email us any feedback” and this is not helpful at all. It would be nice to see them saying they would be trying to fix some of these issues but it seems that is not they’re top priority. Anyways guess I’m stuck with this downgrade from GameDay, hope it gets better.

Not as streamlined as GameDay (the app it replaced). The home page should have upcoming games within the week, along with any pertinent information regarding bsa or teams. There should be a ‘teams’ page, where fixtures, stats, player information, and ladders should be accessible. There should be a search feature, that is more likely to encompassed searches that people are more likely to make (eg, searching for lightsview should show social competitions, Norwood should show the team and social league, for which you can click on whichever you need and scroll through). Then obviously, settings. These menu features should be along the bottom of the app. It’s just not very streamlined, don’t think it’s was designed in conjunction with users.

If you’re looking for an app that consistently fails at the most basic functions, Basketball Connect is the one for you. The login process is a nightmare. I tried multiple times, and every single attempt ended in frustration. When I realized I’d forgotten my password, I thought, “No problem, I’ll just reset it.” But even that doesn’t work!The password reset feature is broken beyond belief – it either doesn’t send a reset email or sends you on a loop back to the login screen without actually resetting anything. After days of trying, I still can’t access the app. What’s the point of an app if you can’t even log in?Basketball Connect is a complete waste of time. The developers need to fix the basics before promoting this app as useful. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere – this app is the epitome of uselessness.

Clunky, difficult to navigate to compare stats; have to know team names to look up different division draws, then it freezes and we can’t check scores in game or hours afterwards. Tonight’s game still stuck on period 2 scores. Was a great concept to see live scores but not when it doesn’t work!Also, there is no way to remove old info from the news and updates home page of the app - I still have news there from a year ago and game alerts from last season for byes and one game we didn’t end up playing. So frustrating to have to weed through all the old stuff to find alerts for the next game!
