The new version appears to be a bit more cumbersome than previous version due maybe to tighten security. Some changes I would like to see are - ability to login using thumbprint, ability to change user and family members details and ability to see family members appointments made using the app. I attempted to make these comments on the app itself but failed. In addition, there is a bug present. It asks you to select the appointment type from the list below but there is no list provided.

My GP clinic has recently started using this platform and it is a nightmare. I have attempted to make an account via the app which told me that my details are already being used and to reset password. Attempted that, NO LINK sent to my email on multiple attempts. Now it states that I am not in the system and to create an account so am going in circles. Also emailed the app stating trouble with log in. No response. No phone number to contact. Eventually reached somebody who works for the organization who also could not help. Total waste of time but also very unpractical as our after hours service can ONLY be accessed via the app or website rendering it useless if needing an urgent after hours appointment. Will be taking further and discussing with our clinic. Hot Doc is MUCH easier and practical, although emergency/after hours service not available. Doctors on demand have been the only helpful after hours service for those having same issue. Healthcare isn’t a game and shouldn’t be joked around with. Such a shame.

I tried to book an appt for my son and found it impossible. I forgot my password but didn’t receive a reset link when I requested it, so had to create a new account. Then entered the first two words of the name of my clinic, but there were no search results for it. Yet I later found it in the list of nearby clinics, showing the same two words I entered with no luck. When I tried to book “for a family member”, it said there was no one to book for, but didn’t give me the option to add a family member at that point or anywhere intuitive in the app. I finally gave up, deleted the app, and will call the clinic instead. Please make this app more useful/functional.

I have tried on many occasions in the last 6 months to work out how to log in to this app, which used to work well. Now I can not access even the space where one puts an email address and despite trying various ways of accessing the app, all I have succeeded in is being quite frustrated by the lack of the “new easy methods of accessing”. It appears that either FD or HFM don’t want us to use the convenience of the app, despite it being advertised on the boards at the clinic. The other frustration is that because I work I can only ring on my way to work or during the day to get an appointment. By the time I get the appointment it is at least a week since the issue I am having and nothing has been able to happen!
