An Elmwood Trail is an amazing app. I tried Peek A Phone, it was very easy, boring and repetitive. Elmwood is the same, but with only one flaw. It is based on a girl who went missing years ago, and you have to find out how she was murdered. It is said she lied about going to a sleepover at her friend, lily’s, place and instead bolted away, but she has the most popular boyfriend, loads of kind friends, and loving family, so why would she run away? It is cartoony and has challenging puzzles. Aside from that, it is still enjoyable and fun. It works offline too and doesn’t have ads, except when you ask for a clue, and you get as many clues as you need, and the ads can be skipped after 5 seconds anyway. After the third clue, you get all the information you need to conclude the puzzle and move onto the next. If you’re looking for an enjoyable clue-hunting mission-based game this is the one for you. Forget about Peek a Phone or any other apps, try An Elmwood Trail. I got this game as a time-filler while my mystery search games recouped energy. When I tell you, they didn’t even get THOUGHT about until I had this game finished. I was hooked from the start! Everything about this game is absolutely phenomenal. The fact that a Dev team of only 3 are responsible for its creation is insane. I’m frothing at the mouth like a rabid squirrel for Episode 3 to be released (but also appreciate the time it takes to create something like this). If you want something that will truly challenge you, has no play restrictions, and no ads (except for if you need a clue which is fair enough) then smack that download button as if your life depends on it - Zoey’s sure does. 🕵🏼‍♀️🤍

I got this game as a time-filler while my mystery search games recouped energy. When I tell you, they didn’t even get THOUGHT about until I had this game finished. I was hooked from the start! Everything about this game is absolutely phenomenal. The fact that a Dev team of only 3 are responsible for its creation is insane. I’m frothing at the mouth like a rabid squirrel for Episode 3 to be released (but also appreciate the time it takes to create something like this). I just finished the game last night. I had to write a review. I am dying to finish this case. I’m looking forward to episode three, and I’m going to wait until that precious day comes.To say that this is an amazing game is an understatement. I’ve always loved mystery games where you can take the lead and look through evidence. This is a very mind challenging game. It does require you to use your mind and figure things out. The clues and riddles are very well placed and written. Sometimes I had to do a bit of extra research to figure out the answer. And if you still can’t get it, there’s your ‘watch an ad to get a hint’. The storyline is well built. I enjoy each of Adam’s interactions with suspects. There’s a broad range of ways to collect evidence and to execute plans - calling, researching, texting. Very good game. Highly recommend it.
