I started using Clue when I had to go off the pill, and was trying to predict when my period would arrive. It made it much easier to see what was happening, and helped me understand my body better. It was an invaluable resource for tracking my fertility when we were trying to conceive, and I missed being able to use it when I was pregnant! I would recommend this app above all other period trackers. If there was one improvement that I wish you could make, it would be to implement pregnancy into the app. Even just to be able to tell the app you’re pregnant, so it doesn’t expect you to input data about period for a number of months would be great. Although it is good that when I’ve opened it up after 11 months that it understands that that time wasn’t one long cycle. It would be great to be able to input that you’re breastfeeding, and be able to use information such as birth date etc, so the app knows to expect various different symptoms (and probably not a regular cycle) for a time afterwards.
Great app, please let me be free!

I tried a few apps and have now been using Clue for 3 years or so. I loved its no fuss, no cutesy frills, just elegant and easy to use interface and it’s been perfect for what I needed. The one thing that has me on a regular basis wanting to delete it and just use the apple health app instead is the CONSTANT pushing to subscribe to a plan. I get it - I know you deliver a super detailed app with education and deep features, and that you do of course need to advertise this. I am all for paying subscriptions for apps that deliver me value, in fact I have that many subscriptions a month it’s overwhelming (maybe I need an app to track my app spends!). However my needs are very basic here - I just want to track my cycle, and occasionally moods associated with it, and be able to look back at a glance at past lengths/variability. I don’t want children, my partners had the snip and I’m educated enough already on my body!! Is there some way to reduce the frequency of your offers, and just have basic functions without the hassle every time I open the app, please? It’s like I’m being made to feel guilty for using your app and not paying. Maybe you could even entice me and perhaps others who may feel the same with a one off payment, or minimal once per year cost to just use the app with fewer pop ups, as I would be happy to do so for the otherwise great app you have built 🙏

Hey there, thanks for letting us know your thoughts - we totally hear you. Pop ups can be disruptive and we know that’s not ideal. While essential features will always be free for everyone, subscriptions help to keep Clue running. We’re always open to feedback though and have shared this with the team. All the best, Ilaria from Clue
Good but for me it desperately needs a journal

This app is really simple to use and has a great visual circle to show where abouts you are in your cycle which is nice.It also has a nice information helper as well with pictures you can click on to track how you’re feeling, if you felt like eating or if you slept a lot etc. on one hand I like this because it helps keeps things uniform and easy to track and on the other hand I can’t stand it because it keeps things too uniform and there is no where to add extra details if something else is effecting your health. For example I might be sick this week or I might be more tired then usual due to work picking up or being more active then normal. I think it would be really nice if there was a way to write down extra details like that. Perhaps you could make it so people originally write the journal entry in the regular symptoms detail entering place then it shows up in the calendar with all the rest. Perhaps have the journal entries primarily show up in the zoomed in one column, daily calendar page. Perhaps have the first sentence or a few sentences of the journal entry be visible under the symptoms to keep it compact but with the ability to click on them to view/create larger journal entries. Overall I really like some aspects of the app but I feel like the inability for the user to add detailed information could really hurt it. It’s something that has made me consider changing apps quite a few times.
The best tracking app I’ve found

This app is incredible compared to basic calendars and calculator apps that I have used in the past. It’s motivated me to get into a routine and pay more attention to my health. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I would like there to be a few more options in each category (or the ability to add options per category). For emotions you can only select; happy, sad, sensitive or PMS. I want to be able to add things like; flat, irritable, excited, hopeful, moody etc. I’m rarely just happy or sad. Same goes with energy levels; an option for a neutral level of energy would be great. I have endometriosis so this app is fantastic because I’ve always been interested to gauge the different phases of my cycle in more detail. Providing some extra information and symptoms for those with endometriosis or PCOS would be wonderful too (for now I have added some customised symptoms). I’d also love LOVE if there was notes about the phases of the moon as these generally have massive correlations with our cycles and it’s super interesting to gauge and learn more about. Great job with this app. I’m looking forward to using it more and hopefully seeing some addditional functions in the future! :) thank you!!
