Scan paper notes: take photos of your handwritten shift notes and Fairbill adds the shifts to your invoice draft, ready for you to check. With your permission, Claude reads only the photos you choose to send. Read with Claude can also help set up a client from an old invoice when your phone can't read the layout. Building an invoice is a little tidier too. Add shift now sits above travel, changing the client checks with you before clearing your shifts, and Settings is grouped into business details, payments and invoices, and help. Plus a few small fixes and tidy-ups.

The Refresh subscription button in Settings > Web access now gives a clear answer every time: whether Apple confirmed your Pro subscription or free trial, when it runs until, and what to do if it couldn't be checked. It also says plainly that web checks are in watch-only mode, so nothing is blocked. Small fixes and tidy-ups.

Invoice PDFs now show the plan manager, nominee or hiring provider separately from the participant, so it is clear who is paying and who received the support. Custom descriptions print exactly as you wrote them, with no extra category text added. Moving an older web-access connection across to app.fairbill.com.au is now more careful. The app keeps your recovery details, checks that the new online copy is complete before it removes the old one, and if the old service cannot be reached it waits and tries again rather than deleting anything. Clearer wording for web sync, receipts and amended invoices. Groundwork for confirming your Pro subscription on the web version, with a Refresh subscription button in Settings > Web access.

Web access moves across on its own. If you used web access before, Fairbill now brings anything you changed in the browser to your iPhone first, then makes your new online copy at app.fairbill.com.au. You only need to link your computer again with a new code. Subcontracting: invoices to another provider now use the rate you agreed with them. The NDIS limit is shown for reference, since it applies to their claim, not your invoice. Save and email: a one-tap way to save a new invoice and open it in your email with the PDF attached. Plus small fixes.

Web access now uses app.fairbill.com.au. If you previously linked a computer, open Settings > Web access on your iPhone, enable web access again, then link your computer at the new address. Records already saved on your iPhone are kept.

Clearer invoices for the way each client is billed. • Self-managed and subcontracted clients can use their own support descriptions when item codes are turned off. Download and attach the PDF before sending from your mail app. Cleaner invoice PDFs: support rows show the description and item number, with GST kept beside the total. Travel claim-unit explanations no longer appear in the description.

Optional computer access Enable Web access in Settings and approve your computer from your iPhone. Add a client from an invoice you've already sent. If you're moving over from another app — or off a spreadsheet — you shouldn't have to type it all in again. On a new client, tap "Fill this in from an invoice" and pick one you've already sent that participant. A PDF from your old invoicing app, a screenshot, or a photo of a printout. Fairbill reads it and fills in: • the participant's name and NDIS number • who you bill — plan manager, their email, their ABN • the supports you provide, matched from the item numbers • what you charge for each one, weekend rates included • your per-kilometre travel rate • the days and times you usually work, ready to use as their usual shifts It shows you everything it found before anything is filled in, and every field stays editable. Anything it couldn't read, you add yourself. It all happens on your phone. The invoice isn't uploaded anywhere. Two things it's careful about: a rate above this year's price limit comes in as it was and gets flagged rather than quietly changed, and invoices with no item numbers on them still give you the participant and the payer. It also knows your half of the page from theirs. The invoice you're importing is one you sent, so your name, ABN and email are on it too. Fill those in under Settings and they'll never end up on the client by mistake. Also fixed • Picking a screenshot from Photos no longer closes the import before you've seen what it found. • "Add a new client" now goes away once you've chosen one. • Changing client after you've loaded their usual invoice swaps the shifts over, instead of leaving the last client's days on screen.

Sharper pricing, a quick check before you send, and safer records. • Invoice check — one screen that points out anything a plan manager would notice (a missing ABN, a rate over the limit, a shift dated tomorrow). Nothing stops you sending. • Exact hours — a 4 h 10 min shift is billed as 4 h 10 min, not rounded to 4.17. • Move a day and the shift is re-priced for it — a Tuesday moved to Saturday gets the Saturday rate. • Nursing supports use their own time bands; group supports can share the price limit across participants; shifts that cross 8 pm can be billed at the higher rate when that's been agreed. • Every invoice you send keeps a copy of the PDF exactly as it went out. • Registered for GST? Turn it on in Settings and mark taxable supports; everyone else sees no GST at all. • Backups can now be password-protected. Clients with invoices are archived, not deleted. • Fixes: today's travel can be invoiced today; new clients bill travel by default; PDFs keep their invoice number as the file name.

Receipts and simpler invoices for self-managed participants. • Receipts — when you mark an invoice paid, send the participant a one-page receipt. It shows the amount, the date it was received and the supports it covered — what self-managed participants need to keep for the NDIA. • Self-managed invoices — invoices to self-managed participants now leave off the NDIS number and item codes, matching the NDIA's self-management guide. Turn them back on per client if the family wants them. • Agreed rates above the NDIS limit are now charged as agreed for self-managed participants, who may choose to pay more than the price limit. Plan- and agency-managed invoices are still brought down to the limit. • Rate finder regions now match the schedule: National, Remote (+40%) and Very remote (+50%). • Clearer notes on provider travel and transport rates ($0.99/km ordinary vehicle, $2.76/km modified vehicle or bus).

Tap any shift or kilometre line on an invoice to change its hours or distance. It's re-priced on the spot, with the right item numbers if the new times cross a rate boundary. Agreed rates now live on the client's page — set them once and every invoice for that client uses them. Use usual invoice picks up from the last invoice you sent and fills in every usual shift since. Save and email: finish an invoice and it opens in Mail with the PDF attached, then marks itself as sent. Tap an invoice in Money to mark it paid, view the PDF, or void it. Voided invoices keep their number and are clearly stamped. Fixes: shifts on the daylight-saving changeover days, weekend shifts running past midnight, split shifts that didn't add up, PDF due dates, the double-billing warning, and more.
