Sick of logging in

Do the developers take notice of any of this feedback??? We are ALL thoroughly sick of having to log in again and again (with our upper caps, lower caps, symbol, hieroglyph and blood of firstborn). And creating a numerical password each time. And confirming the numerical password. And still being logged out. It’s not even after a certain time period, or number of times accessed. We went for a couple of weeks one time; it is every couple of days at the moment. Only a drive each day at the most, but a drive most days. So not even based on lack of access.

Please - see the feedback and at the very least, explain yourselves.

So many bugs and problems

As so many of these other reviews state, the login/log out bug is outrageous. Having to log in and make a new app passcode would be tolerable if it was after 12 months or so, but after 30 minutes? Ridiculous. I have also been subjected to an even more annoying bug, where when you select the done button at the bottom of the page after you have stoped the timer, it brings up a error stating that the date needs to be set by “your network”, when my phones date and time is set to automatic. After clicking the okay option, and clicking the done button again, the message will pop up again, easily 6 times, every time, then it will go through fine. It makes me scared that I will lose my time.

Another thing I don’t like is how the app tracks your location, and the blue icon comes up notifying you, but no feedback is given from the app about this. I would like to see a “You drove xyz KM today” or show a line on a map of where.

As others have mentioned, a pause button would make life so much easier for when you are stopping, for 15 minutes or so, and currently have to enter in all the information, wait through the date and time bug, before your instructor comes back to the car, and you have to log in again before you can start the clock… 120 hours of this is unacceptable from this organisation. Please developers, just improve this app. Thousands of people are essentially forced to use it, and it means a lot to all of them that it works well, and is tolerable.

Typical govt it project

My son updated the app recently and is now no longer able to run it. Apparently it will not work without the latest iOS version so he iPhone 7 is no longer able to support it. We tried to download the old app version but are prevented from doing so. In addition make sure you are always driving in a mobile coverage area or your driving doesn’t count. The supervising driver can manually enter drives but they can only enter a total of 10. Too bad if like us you travel to remote areas where the kids phones don’t have service because none of the hours of drive time will count if you can’t access the app. There have also been times when a drive is started and the counter is running before putting the phone in the glove box only to arrive and find the timer has stopped and the drive not logged. How is it that a supervising driver and the learner can enter whatever they need to into a paper log book but we can not do the same in the app?? Back to good old pen and paper for us.
