Navigation needs work
It’s an app that does the job with lots of potential, however I believe user experience needs a bit of work. For example, inside the student profile, when I tap on the Tasks tab > Subject > select a task, after I read the content and tap on Back, I arrive the Dashboard tab. I would expect to go back to where I came from right? And then when I go Back again I somehow would go all the way back to the landing screen (not the profile screen), then I have to tap on the profile again and go through the whole process again to look at other tasks. Also prefer to have notifications icon/tab appear on the landing screen.
Improvements have been made
The devs have fixed my major issues outlined below. I am still not convinced that this app is as good as it can be. Sometimes buttons don’t work and I haven’t had a chance to try writing reports yet but things seem to be heading in the right direction, thanks!
Compass on a computer is brilliant. Full stop. iOS app is terrible. As a teacher, it makes what should be easy tasks, frustrating and far lengthier than they need to be. - Everything I need (as a teacher) except reading the feed has to be done in browser mode. Which is terrible. Especially now the browser window doesn’t even take up the whole screen - it’s so tiny! What were you thinking!? What’s the point of even having the news feed in a separate part of the app when you always have to go to the browser mode anyway? - When in browser mode, the drop down menus can not be scrolled down. As soon as you put your finger on to drag down the menu to scroll it, the app goes to the page where your finger happened to touch to scroll so I can’t get to the bottom of the menu. - Menu buttons are buggy, the first time you tap one it works, from then on they don’t. If it was up to me, I would not be using this software. Unfortunately, unless I lug my laptop from classroom to classroom, I have no choice.

Being a student this app has made my life so much easier. As like most teenagers I basically have my phone with me everywhere I go so when I am at school I can just pull out my phone and have a look at my timetable and the daily notices. Even when a teacher is away it tells you who you have instead or even is you have a room change which I super handy so that you know where you are going. Even if you are away or something teachers can put up lesson plans of what you do in class and they can also put up any assessments if you have any. This app can also send messages to parents if your child was absent from school so that you are aware or if you know they are going to be away instead of having to write a note all the time you can just do it online so that way you know that the message was receive can by the school and you dont have to worry about your child having to hand on the note and then receiveing unexplained absence. I have found this app has made school so much easier for both the students and the teachers
