In a world driven by information, myToyota Connect allows you to seamlessly integrate your smartphone with the connectivity in your car.

You will be able to:
Stay connected with your vehicles using the myToyota Connect App.
Get daily fuel savings^, right at your fingertips.
Book a vehicle service.
View your EV’s charge status or find charging stations* (CS1).

Vehicle compatibility:
The myToyota Connect app supports a range of recently released Toyota Connected Services vehicles with additional Connected vehicle models to be released in the future.

You can also add Toyota vehicles with a build date from 2009 onwards, with or without Toyota Connected Services.

Toyota Connected Services Products and features:

My Garage
Provides you the benefit to have all vehicle relevant information of your connected Toyota vehicles in one location.

Dashboard
Within the Dashboard, you can customise the card or tile layout depending on your preferred order and what information you want to see.

Remote Connect*
Be in command of your Toyota from near and far, with a touch of the app (CS1). Remote capabilities include:
Unlock and lock vehicle doors
Unlock and lock boot
Start/Stop ignition
Switch on/off lights
Sound the horn
Adjust climate control
Switch on hazard lights

Drive Pulse
Track your driving activity to identify where harsh braking, acceleration and cornering has occurred.

Last Known Location
Find where your vehicle is currently located or where you last parked your vehicle.

Recent Trips
Provides you with historical information on your vehicle’s route.

Guest Driver Settings
Allows you to set and receive driver alerts when your vehicle is driven by other guests. For example, set thresholds and receive notifications for speed, distance, drive time or curfews.

Owner’s Manual & Warranty Guides
You now have access to your owner’s manual and warranty guides at your fingertips.


Registration and enrolment process:

1. Download the app.
2. Create an account using your name, email address and phone number.
3. Verify your account through an activation code sent to your email.
4. Add your vehicle VIN.
5. Select a preferred dealer and nickname for your car. (Optional)
6. Select, activate or subscribe your connected services.
7. Accept the connected services agreements.

CS1 Complimentary period ends 1 to 3 years from delivery date. Fees may apply thereafter. See https://www.toyota.com.au/connected/plans-packages. Not available outside Australia, if services disabled or terminated, or after 2033/Telstra 4G sunset (whichever comes first). Dependent on 3G/4G enabled DCM, GPS signal strength, mobile network coverage and other factors outside Toyota’s control which can limit ability or functionality of system. Check your Owner’s Manual for explanation of limitations. Please drive safely.

Disappointing and confusing

I first used the app to add my NVW30 Prius. It wasn’t “connected” to the car but it was in my garage.
Trying to add a RAV4 Cruiser hybrid was when the frustration started.
It took 5 attempts to verify my phone and account. The One Time Codes I received were invalid when I tried to submit them, perhaps because 5 minute expiry is too short.
Finally I’m in and my old Prius appears.
The app won’t accept the VIN (typed or scanned) of my RAV4 perhaps because its build date is just prior to October 2021 (April 2021).
Somehow the app asked for Registration number. It worked and added the RAV4. I could see it in the garage.
I selected an offer from Ampol, which stopped loading. Then the app stopped and my garage was empty!
This should be straightforward. It is frustrating.

Works well for Corolla Cross

Everything in this app seems to work pretty well for my 2023 Corolla Cross. Remote start with climate control is awesome. Great for tracking how well the vehicle is being driven (harsh braking, harsh cornering, fast acceleration) which will be great once my teen starts driving! Can’t access manuals from app. Consistently get a message that ‘something went wrong, please try again’ and have never been able to access them. Occasionally it will have difficulty connecting to remote start but this is most likely due to poor phone reception signal strength. No reception equals no connection to car. Very handy to have remote start from anywhere in the world (pending phone reception) to keep the battery charged when you go away for a long trip. All in all works pretty well for me.

Not star worthy atm

Please fix this app for those of us who do high kilometres. I’m trying to book a 90k service and it’s saying recommended service is 40k. It only allows me to choose up to 60k. The other app (myToyota Australia), recognised my vehicle and knew what service I was up to. Unfortunately, I had to delete that app because it used to open the app each time I turned my car on, which did my head in, when I was using my phone in my garage or driving out of Bunnings to show an e receipt to get the boom gate to open.
