This app is so much fun to use, great work guys. I love finding new apps that I can incorporate into my day to day life and this is one I’m keeping forever, I usually chuck my receipts in the bin or say no thank you to getting a receipt from the cashier, but now with this app I’m remembering to keep my receipts so I can scan them into this app and get points! I haven’t even touched on the aspect of getting gift cards or money from scanning your receipts, that is such a cool feature, I just enjoy scanning my receipts into the app but if I get enough points to exchange for money I definitely will haha.

I’ve been using the app for 8 months aiming a $20 gift card. During this time I’ve had recommended this app several times to my friends and many of them had downloaded it because I thought it was something worthy. Once I reached the total amount of points after such a long time and claimed for my prize I waited my voucher through my email for more than 3 weeks which in the end I didn’t get. So I’ve contacted the support team and after couple of days I’ve got an answer. They told me I wasn’t able to get my voucher because I had uploaded eftpos receipt which is not allowed. So my question is If eftpos receipts are not allowed why I could submit them? Even after that, I tried to contact the support team to get the voucher as I thought they could be able to solve my problem looking through my case. One time I got a message from James who was not helpful at all. I felt like he was copying and pasting the same automatic answer not looking through my case in specific and the second time I didn’t get any answer so that’s why I’m writing here. I’m truely disappointed with ReceiptJar. I felt like I was decided as for 8 months I was updating all my receipts aiming for $20 Priceline gift card and in the end I didn’t get anything I only wasted my time. Uninstalled with success!!

Hi, if your redemption status is "PENDING" then it means your account has been flagged for any of the following reasons: 1) you uploaded receipts that are not yours 2) you have uploaded receipts that we do not accept 3) you created fake accounts to get referral points 4) the majority of your receipts were rejected as "unreadable".

We take account quality very seriously. These rules are stated in the app also on our T&Cs. If you try to breach the rules, you will not get the rewards. For your information, people that don't have these violations will get their rewards quickly and smoothly. We do not reward users who breach the T&Cs otherwise it wouldn't be fair to others who are following them.

We strongly suggest that you review our rules and T&Cs before using the app.

Do not waste your precious time on uploading your receipts for their use of your “private” information and for their use of your expenses information for their own goods. After trying to go up to 9500 points of spending around $40K in 8 months time, my approval of trying to get $50 vouchers was rejected just because of their incorrect system counts and maybe some of your own mistake of uploading duplicate receipt, out of like 700+ receipts you upload, if 20 of them was mistaken and rejected, you wasted 95% of your “good” counts… one way I say, is a scam, or you should always just get the $5 voucher or lower value vouchers just in case they rejects your claim… made me very frustrated that it wasn’t my fault and wasted all my 700 good receipts I uploaded to claim… while they use your data for their own good and researches… also, some online receipt like the McDonald’s they will not recognize and even was you report a mistake, they will not gets back to you. Their Support never response as well…
So, just treat this as a program that record your receipt or find a better “private” program for recording your receipt without them using your receipt for their own goods…
