SEQTA Learn 4+

Works....Sometimes

The app UI and experience by itself is pretty good, all things considered. Even though it is designed for iPad, you can use it on Mac as long as you are ok with the buttons being kind of small. The big problem with SEQTA is that is relies on not only your internet, but both your school's internet and servers. If anyone of those things are down, the app is basically useless. It is still significantly better than a web app though, even though the app often takes a good 30 seconds to launch, but unless your school's servers and internet are often down, it is a fairly good app...

Great app!

I loved the SEQTA mobile app, great to be able to check on the go rather than having to go via an internet browser. The only downside is that since I use the app on an iPhone, the menus are really small and navigating to view individual folios can be difficult (you have to toggle the “list” option to off). You also can’t view multiple menus at once on the same screen, such as the course menu and the daily lesson view, unless you are in landscape mode, which is not as easy to navigate. There is also no option to clear one notification like on the web or PC versions, instead you can only erase them all. Other than these few little bugs though, SEQTA is a standout app and it’s great for all students. 4.5 out of 5!

Seqta’s new update

Seqta is a great way to learn my school uses it as our main source of information, reports ect.. but science the update I have been getting so many of my old marks come through as “new marks” even though I got them in like March or something. I do think it is a good app but it just needs a few more tweaks to fix bugs and notification problems. Would suggest it though. I give seqta a 3.5 but can get increased if they fix the few problems it has :)

Hi Dwight, thank you for your post. In early November we introduced a change in the assessment release process to close a logic gap that allowed teachers to trigger a notification for assessments that were not yet visible for SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage. The notification then leading to an empty screen. This improvement did result in some older notifications being resent. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
