Fantastic asset for any small business
We have been using this app for almost 6 months and it has made everything 1000x better. Before we were paper based and now the app has everything in one place. The only downside to the app is that it is only IOS so some of our workers can’t access the app but I can easily print of work orders for them. If I have a question there is always someone to help, they reply to emails fast. I don’t think my business could survive without ServiceM8.
Time consuming quoting
This app would work great for sole traders or for tracking employees time although the quoting is very time consuming. (which is the most loathed yet most important part of running a business) Quoting doesn’t allow templates or grouping of materials for easier additions like other trade apps. This also means analysing actual time and costs against quote is impossible as can’t document in app how many materials were actually used. Using a centralised invoicing office person is time consuming due to travel time not being able to be excluded easily. Also Siri does not announce who the client in ServiceM8 calling is only unknown caller. Support has been poor due to them releasing their own caller handling app so that they can charge you more money.

Great app, we have been using serviceM8 for almost 3 years now and about to expand again this year. Would not have been possible without serviceM8 and we would still be using diaries!
