Looks really good, but...

This app looks like it could be really useful, but I wish it was possible to create more than 2 projects without purchasing subscription. I’m not against paying for a good product, but want to be able to see what I’m paying for first. Perhaps 4 projects would be more useful to trial the functionality.

I've tried literally every single task management / to-do list out there and there has always been some kind of limitation that hasn't made it the right fit. Tasks I hadn't heard of before, but it looked really cool. I was using Things 3 but the way it handled projects just wasn't the best for me. Given I can have over 50 different projects going on at once in various different stages, things using the basic area drop down with projects nested made it really confusing to know where everything was at and I find myself having to organise it more and more the longer I used it which ended up being a massive 1 hour time sync daily with a weekly clean-up as well. Task is really smart - and simple. You have the 4 filters that are needed to start you off, then projects are nested under folders and can be filtered by tags, priority or where they are at via a Kanban style. Seems to have a drag and drop integration with Bear which others I have tried didn't so that is also a nice plus. Still early days, I'm hoping the development team is still actively working on this app because I'm very excited to see what's next!P.S I would reccomend a name change. Because it's simple just called "task" it's really hard to find your website (if you have one) or anything about it. Most other task manager will have great community feedback on their setups and it's just really hard to google "tasks" without every single task manager in existence coming up.

I really like how simple it is and have things separated with my custom tags is really the reason’ve kept with it. One small note is I love how far you can go without premium. I forget that they even offer a paid version at times which is amazing for the day to day user experience. If you’re looking for something super basic but still a small step up from basic to-do list tasks is perfect. My only dream feature request at the moment is the option to have each task wrapped in a small box with rounded corners for some visual representation. (closer to the design in Jira) as I find them a little bit harder to seperate at times (it would also look super clean) otherwise great and useful product.

I've taken the step and purchased a lifetime license, because I believe that this application has merit, however I have without fail, had this application fail on me when adding comments to any of the tasks. Other than that, (which for me is quite important) the application does everything else that I would want it to do.
