Good and bad
Love the preview of shows but hate not being able to see earlier or later programs because the guide doesn’t move sideways. Would also like to know if a program is a repeat, but they usually are nowadays so it’s a big problem. So much for digital tv and the choices we all were going to have because of the number of channels to choose from, but it does become annoying when programs are repeated time after time and again the following week.
Better than competition
I’ve had this app on my iPad for ages and when My iPad started having wi-fi issues, decided to put one on my phone. Well for some reason I downloaded the wrong app. Fine, other one seemed okay- that was until I’d used it for a week then all of a sudden I’m getting full page ads coming up obscuring the guide. Yes, I could tap a cross and get rid of them, but what a pain! I now have this one on my phone. The offending app is blue and white.
On the whole, pretty good but…
This TV guide is definitely the pick of what’s out there, but a couple of minor niggles that I’m sure your techs can work out.
1. I live in Western Australia, and the time zones are not consistent. On the guide itself it’s ok, but if you tap on a program for more information, the time is in eastern states time.
2. It would be nice if we could change the order of the channels. My favourite channel is gwn 7 which always is at the bottom. I’d love to be able to reorder them.
Apart from these, I’m very happy with the app.
