Good attempt

If I have time to browse, I love going through and customising features and seeing new products. BUT, if I am in a hurry, the only thing I am interested in, is the available balance and transactions. This version of the app, puts products and features ahead of speed and convenience. Home screens should have the most basic information, it is how google dominated the search engine wars. The app also only displays part of the account if there is a secondary card holder and does not plainly state “Available balance (black lettering)= xxxxxx” and “Outstanding balance (red lettering) = xxxxxx”. Instead, it uses minus signs and then a small font available balance. The nature of a credit card is debt, so using minus signs on a debt is not clear and simplified accounting for many households.
I do like the refreshed look and the fingerprint security addition.
This is not my preferred app version and look forward to a review.

Much better but....

I just updated to the latest version of the app and it is a huge improvement over the other versions. Finally Face ID login. The reason for my 3 star review though is that after logging in I still have to navigate the menu to get to the only piece of info I really want to see, my credit card balance. I have zero interest in the spending graph as I spent the money so already know where it went. At the very least the Home Screen or Menu order needs to be customisable so I can get straight to this info. I don’t have any other accounts, just a credit card so don’t want to see anything else.

Still not working

This app historically never worked for me. It just sat on the loading screen for 1000 years. So I deleted it and forgot about it. This morning I get an email about the “all-new” app encouraging me to try it out. So I do. Five texts, zero logins and three OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG SOZ’s later, I get another text - “Thanks for updating your email address!” I did no such thing. I was never even able to log in at all. Again. So thanks very much, app developers. Not only is your app STILL broken, but I had to then call Virgin to make sure I wasn’t being skimmed or hacked in some way. Great use of my time. Much appreciated. Sort yourselves out, would you?
