The year the school changed and it’s not for the better. Navigation of assignment tasks requires you to go back to the home in order to look at the next assignment details. It’s clunky and not user friendly
Support is not available
Don’t bother using the support link. Even though this is the their app. They only provide support to the school.
The school can’t fix my problem because it is app related but XUNO support advised I should contact my school to request support through the school to XUNO.
A bit redundant if I have contacted XUNO directly. Why can’t they deal with me directly? I already checked with the school first in case it was a setting issue at their end. Guess it’s because XUNO can’t send the account to anyone if they deal directly with an actual user.
The app often fails to load because apparently login details are incorrect, but if I close the app and go back in it loads.
It also behaves as if it’s loading but then no notifications or messages are available and the loading symbol keeps spinning until you give up and try another day.
Switching between items in the menu causes the login error previously mentioned, as does switching between schools for different children.
The idea and intention of functionally might be great, but the app is not.
The school has recently switched to XUNO. After some teething issues, my main gripe is that the app doesn’t clear notifications properly (particularly a new markbook item), and it doesn’t seem possible to switch off the unimportant ones. Presuming there is one, I can’t find the settings menu at all. The formatting for payments is also unclear.
School notices are displayed clearly, but it isn’t necessarily apparent which is new or unread.
