It works. I must say that people amaze me. How can anyone write a bad review because the app does not work on very outdated iOS versions and are paranoid to update. That's the way software improves, with updates. If you are smart you wait until the update has been out for awhile to be sure it doesn't have big issues. To NEVER update iOS is just foolish. I always have the latest iOS version and always wait a week to be sure and NEVER had a problem. People have to stop complaining and use their brains. If you are paranoid then find a good psychologist or shrink because the problem is you, not the way software is improved. Do you think that the way software gets updates will change with giving lousy reviews about updates that no one else has any problems with? It's the old thing that if everyone thinks you are crazy then you probably are or at least if you don't think you are it doesn't matter.
