DLSPhoto (Dominion Land Survey) is an app created by the developers at AbaData. The app allows users to take photos and watermark them with different location-based text strings. By customizing the settings menu, users can add the Latitude/Longitude, LSD/NTS Grid Location, UTM Coordinates, Bearing, Elevation, Street Address and Date/Time. There is also an added AbaData 2.0 integration which allows users to automatically upload their photos to their AbaData 2.0 account as waypoints, eliminating the need to transfer them to a secondary device.

Good app, minor tweaks would be great

App has been working great. It would be great if you could alter the text on the photo screen rather than having to go into settings, as pipeliners move to an extensive amount of different areas in a day. It would be great to be able to show just the date rather than date and time as well.

Needs a New Update for IOS 17.

Abby2022!
Great photo app the oil industry but requires a new update for the IOS 17. Since I updated my phone to the new apple 17 update the camera has a sideways view and upside down view. The photo comes out in the correct orientation but hard to tell what your taking with the camera not orientated correctly.

Great app, but there’s one issue that would be really nice for you to fix. Every time you swipe out of the app and then come back in, the comments delete at the bottom of the picture and you’re forced to type them in again. This becomes quite redundant if you are taking a lot of pictures throughout the day. Would be 5 stars otherwise.
