In their daily practice, family physicians regularly see patients with musculoskeletal problems. In fact, at least 15% of the visits to doctors’ offices, walk-in clinics and ERs are related to musculoskeletal disorders, especially the shoulder.
This application provides a detailed review of the examination of this joint. The main diagnostic and examination maneuvers (description, interpretation, specificity and sensitivity, and advice) are explained and illustrated in twelve short video clips.
You can also use augmented reality to view the details of the different shoulder motions in 3-D, on the screen of your device.
Review your knowledge of shoulder anatomy by means of the integrated anatomy charts. You can even print out a shoulder assessment form produced by the Association québécoise des médecins du sport et de l’exercice, and an infosheet containing general advice to give to your patients who have just been given an injection.
