This app has been made badly. The camera scan to scan your face keep lagging and failing for now reason whatsoever. After that they verify how close or far away from your home adress, meaning that if at work doing it or just not home, the verification fails and REMEMBER 3 tries only!!!😑
Limited options to verify identity
Depending on which province you live - it seems to only accept a drivers license. Why doesn’t it accept a passport?!? My license has been in the mail/in limbo for a few weeks so I can’t use it for this as it won’t accept my expired one - even though it’s still a form of photo ID. Was trying to use this app so I can change the default postal outlet that my parcels go to because the one they assigned me is too far away and when I go it’s often unexpectedly not staffed - went today and it had a sign saying “back in a half hour”. Like honestly? This was my third attempt at picking up the parcel and it’s a half hour drive round trip. This entire day dealing with canada post has been nothing but a runaround. I tried using chat support, tried tech support - said there’s nothing they can do about the identity verification issues I was having on their website because it’s done by a “third party”. So, maybe do something about that?! They are doing a poor job of ensuring their survival.
