Spendsafe is a money app designed for Canadian families that gives kids their own Spendsafe card (powered by Mastercard®) to use online or in stores, while parents stay in control through the app.
How It Works:
Kids spend. Parents stay in the loop.
Parents load money onto the Spendsafe card, and kids can use it at any store in Canada that accepts Mastercard®.
Safe by design.
You can lock the card instantly through the app if it’s lost or stolen, and review all transactions with your child to help them learn smart money habits.
Separate logins for kids and parents.
Kids get their own app view focused on saving and spending. Parents get a clear dashboard to manage money and support their child’s growth.
Works for families.
You can add up to three active child cards under one parent account. There are no interest charges or overdrafts—just simple, safe spending.
