All of PS Suite's categories and any custom subcategories are available to choose from the list. Simply tap on the patient name heading (top of the screen in journal view), then when you get the basic demographics tap on “See More” to reveal detailed demographics. At the bottom you will see the current preferred pharmacy is there is an existing one. To add or edit, tap on the pencil icon on the top-right corner. You can select from the recent ones, or search on the local address book, or optionally if PrescribeIT is enabled, you can search the Provider Registry. If you are searching, just type the initial characters of the pharmacy you want to select and then select the right one from the list of matching pharmacies. Once you have selected the pharmacy and you are back on the patient details, tap on “Save” to save the selected pharmacy as preferred for this patient. •Office selection after log in (Medesync): When Medesync users log in or navigate to the Home screen they will see the office (AKA location) and they can change it to the appropriate office they are working from. Selecting the View TELUS educational programs link will direct you to a web browser with the Digital Learning Solutions program directory, where you can register for Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited programs and Personal Practice Assessment and Performance Improvement Programs. •Several defect fixes, including the following: oPS Suite: the text of the To: field was cut off when viewing a MedDialog message. oPairing data could be lost and you had to randomly re-pair your device(s). oA "cannot load all content" error appeared on the login screen if the application timed out after inactivity at the same time the inbox was being refreshed. oIn French, when editing a note the banner to collapse/expand the note incorrectly referred to a prescription. oKinLogix and PS Suite: the list of medications did not appear when prescribing using iOS 10. oIf a patient did not have a birthdate recorded in the EMR, the patient's demographics in displayed today's date. oKinLogix: an "undefined object" error appeared at the bottom of the screen when selecting how to send a prescription. oPS Suite: when renewing multiple medications, interaction warnings displayed only for the first medication renewed. oPS Suite: An error appeared when attempting to view encounters, after creating a new note while viewing only lab reports. If you create a new note while viewing lab reports, the patient is now refreshed showing all notes. oKinLogix: an error appeared that the attachment could not be displayed when viewing a comment on a lab report. oMedesync: Unsupported attachment types were not visible when expanding a note.

We recommend updating your devices to iOS 12 or later to take advantage of performance improvements, and because future releases of TELUS EMR Mobile may not support iOS 10. •Gender icon removed from inbox: Since users did not find the gender icon valuable in the inbox, and it takes up valuable screen real estate, it was removed. •Med Access - Support for checkboxes and date entry: When you add an entry to a chart, you can now select a checkbox and select a date from a calendar when these exist in the clinical document. Checkboxes default to what is set in the template (i.e. selected or not selected). In a date field, you must select a date from the calendar; you cannot manually enter a date. This feature requires Med Access version 5.9 or later. •PS Suite: Changing the discontinuation date of a treatment: When you discontinue a treatment, the Discontinuation date defaults to today but can be changed. Select the calendar icon to choose a date from the calendar or tap the date to see a list of common dates (such as 1 Week Ago, 1 Month Ago etc.). This feature requires PS Suite version 5.15.300 or later. •Launching third party extension applications: On the home screen, next to the what's new gift icon, a new launch icon is available. Currently a message displays that no extensions are available, but in the future you will be able to use this icon to access third party extension applications for which your EMR is configured.( TELUS Health's third party partners must first update their applications to communicate with TELUS EMR Mobile). The Launch option is also available from a patient's chart when you select the menu at the top right. These documents also appeared in journal view with the option to Mark as Reviewed although they had already been reviewed oWhen viewing a patient chart with active messages that do not fill the height of the screen, tapping a note below the list of active messages did not expand the note oOn iOS devices, when selecting an attachment in an encounter, a different encounter expanded oOn smaller screens, when viewing a patient's chart with more than 3 messages, the journal view area at the bottom of the screen appeared blank oIf your mobile device was set to sleep before the TELUS EMR Mobile app timeout of 2 minutes, the mobile application did not return to the PIN screen oOn iOS devices, the attachment icon disappeared when you expanded and then collapsed a visit with an attachment oWhen saving multiple prescriptions on the same day, the journal view was not refreshed to show the new treatments. New treatments will appear at the bottom of the list oPS Suite: if you prescribed a medication and received an interaction warning and then prescribed another medication, the previous interaction warning would appear although it was unrelated to the current medication being prescribed
