Car 42 :)
Have had car 42 in the past and has been very welcoming and helpful but today the lovely driver went above and beyond for my little girl, 3 and a half hours to great ormand street and 3 hours back and it was the most pleasant journey we have had thank you andy car 42 I hope we have you every time in the future ❤️
Straightforward and useful app
I’ve had no bother using this app to book a taxi - specifying a time usually easier than asking for one immediately. Great to be able to pay by a linked credit card too. Straightforward interface and I like that I have car and driver details sent to me by text. Would definitely recommend.
Let down by scheduled bookings
The app is simple enough to use, but I was really let down on the night of my wedding. I pre-booked 4 taxis and none of them showed on time. One guest ended up waiting an hour in the cold on their own - there is nothing in the app to tell you when to expect a car to arrive. I ended up having to call them and the operator seemed confused about the number of cars I’d ordered. Not sure why they bother offering pre-booked services if they’re not able to honour them.
