Description
Air is a generative audio-visual work created by musician / software designer Peter Chilvers and Irish vocalist Sandra O’Neill. Based on concepts developed by Brian Eno, with whom Chilvers created Bloom, Air assembles vocal and piano samples into a beautiful, still and ever changing composition, which is always familiar, but never the same.
Air features four ‘Conduct’ modes, which let the user control the composition by tapping different areas on the display, and three ‘Listen’ modes, which provide a choice of arrangement. For those fortunate enough to have access to multiple iPhones and speakers, an option has been provided to spread the composition over several players.
Recommended for headphones and external speakers.

Simply beautiful
So impressed and loving the Reflection App decided this was also worth a try. So calming to listen too. Helps me wind down and take away the days stress. Use the sleep function to send me every night into blissful dreamy land of nod.

Hook it up to some speakers and just let it play...
The combination of O’Neil's voice, the treated piano tones (+ occasional far off percussive noises) is wonderful.
Not so convinced by the conduct mode as it does not seem to loop in the way that Bloom does (but perhaps I'm wrong).
A minimul price for a never ending composition - bargain!

I bought this yesterday and got the best night's sleep I've had in ages (I prefer the Piano Only mode).
If I see a crap app, I call it a crap app, but this is amazing in it's simplicity and beauty.
