The Al Rayan Bank mobile banking app enables customers to securely manage their finances on the move.
Customers who use the app can:
• Manage personal accounts
• See recent transactions and check balances
• Set up new payees, make regular and standard payments to existing payees or transfer money between Al Rayan Bank accounts
• View Al Rayan Bank products held and apply online
• Set up balance and transaction notifications
• Set up and cancel standing orders
• Pay bills
• View statements
• Use the secure messaging facility

Great app once you get past difficult registration
Initially I rated this very low but turns out it was because of the registration. Basically it is quite confusing as you can't use your existing web login, you need to create a new one. And even then you need to know your security questions and get them 100% correct otherwise you will be locked out. Best thing to do is just call them up, although you might need to wait 30mins before getting through to someone.
Once you do get through this however, the app is actually pretty good and well designed. So the app makers have done a good job. Just a shame they didn't put the same thought into the registration process

Please call us on 0800 694 7193 and we’ll be happy to help you through the registration process. You can reach us on Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. It’s also worth mentioning that we have since released an updated version of the Mobile Banking app, so you may wish to try installing it again.
Worst ever app
It took me two days and few calls an hour each to customer services just to install and run it for first time, after few logins it crashed, was advised to reinstall it, but due to no success with log in it asked me to change my password and eventually blocked me, had to call customer services, they advised me to reinstall it again and call them after, it crashed again. Unfortunately there is no way I can login on the website either. I will need to visit a branch but they will probably divert me again to customer services. Last year they made my account dormant and transferred my money to a hidden holding account which I was unable to see, few months they wasted me to prove my address history and IDs, meanwhile they deleted my inactive account with history of transactions, I called them and I was shocked they offered to delete all my messages too. As I again cannot see my account I now pray they do not “steal my money”. My conclusion is that this is NOT a bank YOU CAN TRUST IN. Looking forward to move my money to another bank ASAP.

This latest version of the App is really good! Can’t fault it at all. You get all what you expect from a banking App and much more in a more user friendly format .
Well done to the developers for listening to customers’ complaints and improving what was previously a very difficult App to use!
