Algbra - Ethical Finance 4+

Great platform!

This is truly a futuristic app. What I like most about this app is it allows you to control your money see where it is being spent.
Also it is super easy to make payments to payees. The customer service team are so hands on, if you have any queries they respond quick.
The fact you get cash back is also a massive bonus ! I have used this card in Europe and Asia and it has worked wonders never let me down. I will be using in the upcoming month for a long trip in Bali as I know the platform is extremely reliable. Highly recommend! Algebra is definitely leading the way with modern technology

DO NOT USE THIS BANK

I regret signing up for this bank please guys I’m trying to help do not go through what I went through.
I was meant to get a refund it took this bank over 2 months to get it back to my account I was asking them everyday when will this be fix they will aswell say Friday… Friday will come and they won’t reply to me. I had to tell them I’m gonna report them so I get my money and I finally received it.
Wednesday I was trying to use my card at the shops it kept on declining i sent a message to Algbra saying my card ain’t working I need help they reply the next morning saying check your emails. I got a email saying my account is being closed I was so confused I messaged them again saying “I don’t understand why is my account being closed” they replied hours later we can’t give you no further information why it’s being closed. I didn’t get it how are you closing my account and not telling me why it’s being closed I don’t understand.
Anyway guys please be careful if using this bank.
I’m gonna be reporting these guys because this bank should not be up and running it is so bad.

Decent app, limited benefits

App is decent, had good benefits (cashback) but it’s expiring soon. Pay at pump services don’t work though as Algbra doesn’t allow those types of transactions. Support is responsive but it seems the agents can’t answer some questions about their services such as the previously mentioned pump payments. The other downside is that the there’s no FSCS protection however as they only offer a current account that’s not a huge deal. Overall good but not a long term challenger to Chase as an example. Also it’s nice how the cash-back automatically goes into your account, but it’s not great that it’s so frequently as when looking back over my transactions it’s adds a lot of visual clutter to look back through loads of tiny cashback payments.
