The App

I’ve found that the app is very good and normally when delivering it 99% of the time goes to the correct address.

There does seem to be a generic address which is always wrong in Leeds. It goes to an address called Wynter Avenue which is an industrial Estate. The first time it directed me there I was late to my last delivery as I had to call the customer who couldn’t speak English then in the end I ended up just using the address on tjhe parcel to get to the correct address.

There is one issue that is really annoying when you get called back to deliver more parcels. The app should give you all the parcels at one time rather than being called back sometimes there is traffic and you can’t back in time!!!

Could be better.

It’s not too bad but there’s a few improvements to consider.
1. When fallowing a route the map zooms out too far and sometimes can be difficult understand which road you need to turn into.
2. When selecting blocks, it would be useful to see the first two letters of the available postcode area for the block.
This would help drivers know which areas their going to in advance and able to pre plan routes to the area and advoid traffic. Also for example- if person ‘A’ lives in a CT postcode and person ‘B’ lives in the opposite TN postcode, surely it would make more sense for drivers to do their more knowledgeable area to ensure all deliveries are easier to find and complete, plus it’ll say a lot of time and fuel for each driver.
3. Taking a photo of the customers I.D on an AVD package would be faster and more accurate than inputting the details manually.

Feels like they don’t care

1. You’ll obviously need so ask for help at times so you’d think you can call a support group?…
NO!, they don’t have any contact numbers for staff if you have any questions while not on route.

2.they do however give you a support team email, but this is all monitored by computers that’ll bombard you with whatever reply it feels like. These emails rage from them saying I don’t even have a flex account, accusing me of stealing parcels (I never would), making me prove I can work in the uk (even though you have to do this before starting work with flex) and also I’ve been accused of making 2 accounts. All of which were false accusations. There should be someone you can talk to but there isn’t.

3. The maps are awful, there are so many great gps apps out there, with this it seems like lazy programming, the maps can direct you down some weird roads that can mean you end up getting stuck and damaging you’re car. They can also send you to the complete wrong location which is so annoying. And when you email about these problems you won’t get any response👌.

4. They do ask you what car you drive, this is actually great because surely they’ll send you on certain routes based on what car you drive?, for example some routes will be unsuitable for lowdown or long cars. No this isn’t considered at all.
