Included in this version 'Caesars campaign in Gaul' culminating in the classic siege of Alesia, and the campaign between Julius Caesar and Pompey the Great, including the battle of Pharsalus.
You can also purchase additional campaigns, 'Britannia' with the highlight of Queen Boudicca's demise at the battle of Verulamum, 'Germania' with the Roman massacre at Teutoburger Wald, and the 'Pontic' campaign against Mithridates the Great.
The 'Pontic' campaign adds scythed chariots and the Greek Pike Phalanx to the game system.

Ratings and Reviews
A really good light wargame
A really good light wargame that has been well implemented and plays well. Graphics are good, even on the smaller mini iPad screen, and you quickly get to distinguish the various troop types and come to learn their strengths and limitations. I could ague about some of the outflanking moves, or situations when morale might have been a bigger factor in the fight, but that would be picky. It plays well and it's very enjoyable.
Mini review
I have an image of the developer of this game, they are sitting at their table, they have a brilliant war-based strategy game under their belt that many have paid for. So what next? Well surely the most plausible thing to do would be to RELEASE HALF OF THE CAMPAIGNS AS IN APP PURCHASES. This choice of transaction just irritates me, i understand you may need the money to carry on (at least I hope that's what it is, not just greed) but I would happily buy the game for a higher price, rather that feel as if I'm paying extra for the same game. Great game, over the top in app purchases.
Not up to scratch
I've really enjoyed the other Hunted Cow battle games but this one falls flat for me. The theme is great but there seems to be something very off in the battle calculations whereby units that are supposed to be strong against certain other types of unit get mashed when they engage them or where in some battles the AI enemies seem to do or take far more/less damage than seems appropriate or realistic, even on easier settings. The whole thing consequently feels like it ends up too often as an exercise primarily in luck.
