Description
The original Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game was released in 2017. This new one-time purchase app is packed with items and events that were released over the course of seven years. It keeps the general game play of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp without additional in-game purchases.
As a campsite manager, it's up to you to build a fun campsite. While working as the manager, you can also fish, catch bugs, chat with animals, and collect your favorite furniture.
You can also change into your favorite outfit, make lots of detours, and enjoy your relaxing camp life!
◆ Decorate your campsite with over 10,000 items
From tents and swings to lazy rivers and merry-go-rounds, there are tons of items you can use to decorate your campsite with to your taste.
◆ Meet the animals
A lot of animals with quirky personalities will make an appearance. The animals are very curious about your campsite. The animal pal you choose as a camp caretaker will help you with your job. Walk around the forest together and get inspiration on how to build a lovely campsite.
◆ Tons of seasonal events
There will be lots of events such as Garden Events and Fishing Tourneys every month. Don't forget Halloween, Toy Day, Bunny Day, and the Summer Festival. Jump into these events to collect seasonal items.
◆ Continue from your save data
Players who played the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game can transfer their save data and continue playing.
※Save data can be transferred until June 2nd, 2025.

◆ Camper Cards
You can create a Camper Card that introduces you. Pick a color and pose and it's done. You can also scan other players' Camper Cards and enjoy trading and collecting.
◆ Gatherings at the Whistle Pass
You can visit a new place that didn't exist in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Other players whose Camper Cards you registered will come visit. Enjoy music, with a nightly live guitar performance by K.K. Slider.
◆ Complete Ticket
When you participate in events, you can earn Complete Tickets. Exchange them for limited-edition items that you missed out on or fortune cookies of your choice.
◆ Enjoy Custom Designs
You can scan Custom Designs created in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game for the Nintendo Switch system, then wear or otherwise use them in the app.
※Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete only supports downloading Custom Designs. You cannot create new Custom Designs in the app.

Animal Crossing for the busy adult
I skipped Pocket Camp at first because I couldn't be bothered with the business model. However, the announcement of this release changed things. I'm all for a live service game shutting down and launching an offline version with all (if not most) of the content released up to that point.
I've been playing this non-stop since it surprise-dropped a day early. I'm as obsessed with it as I was with New Leaf, which I poured about 1k hours into. That this game uses a lot of assets from New Leaf only sweetens the deal. Pocket Camp Complete is the best way to play this game and also the best Animal Crossing if you can only dedicate a few minutes throughout the day to progress, whereas the mainline games might require a few more minutes (if not hours, depending on your objectives) of uninterrupted gameplay.
P.S.: This version further highlights how predatory the live version was. The progress I made so far would've cost dozens if not hundreds of pounds, or weeks of grinding in the live version. I know this because I've been skipping a lot of the grinding with what used to be the premium currency, which PC Complete throws at you every few minutes each day to the point where it takes no time at all to accumulate a substantial amount. Not a point against this version since the content itself is only made more enjoyable by how easy it is to unlock and interact with, but definitely a dig at the live version. RIP, you won't be missed.
Brilliant for Animal Crossing Nostalgia!!!
I was hesitant to re-download Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp at first, especially since I wasn’t a fan of the original version of the app. But after giving it another shot, I was blown away by how much it has improved! This update combines elements from all the main Animal Crossing games—Wild World, New Leaf, and New Horizons—into one seamless experience. It brought back a wave of nostalgia I didn’t expect to feel. For just £8, it’s absolutely worth it. Linking your Nintendo account is quick and easy, and you even get bonus items in New Horizons on the Switch. The game makes it so much simpler to meet new villagers, with the roster refreshing every three hours, and you get to choose which ones stay at your camp. Pocket Camp is perfect for playing on my iPad or iPhone when I don’t have my Switch with me. It’s an amazing game that blends convenience with the charm of Animal Crossing. Highly recommend!

That game is amazing totally go check it out it is sooo cool ever since I started playing the old game it was so fun but now the new game is even more fun then expected you have camper cards catalog tickets and everything in the game including whistle pass we have concerts now and it is so cool and soothing K.K’s voice is soo good I can’t stop listening to it at the game it was so fun I can’t stop playing it eek and we have camp caretakers following us and it is so cute ngl anyway I like the game you can see your friends in whistle pass like what anyway the game is amazing keep making that kind of stuff Nintendo and I can’t believe the animal crossing pocket camp game officially ended it’s services like it is so sad 😭😭
