Excellent until it comes to collecting the prescription

I’ve used the Babylon GP service on several occasions and it really is excellent. Every video consultation has been on time and with a GP who really listens and understands. Unfortunately the service is let down by the difficulty of then getting the prescription through to my local chemist. Chemists close to me did not seem familiar with accessing the prescription sent to them, on several occasions it had not arrived. So whilst the appointment with the Doctor worked absolutely as it should, I then spent the rest of the day back and forward to the chemist, then trying to call Babylon helpline which is always very busy, calling the chemist and getting very frustrated. I will use Babylon again as I get it via my bupa policy and what a great thing it has been especially in lockdown. However please refine your prescription sending system as it’s incredibly frustrating and made me think I may as well have battled with my own GP.

Whilst the reply from you was welcome, it’s rather late to offer help receiving my prescription now as a week has passed. Improve this facility and it is a fantastic service. As it is it’s very frustrating.

Almost Perfect

It’s great to be able to just pick up the phone rather than making a physical appointment with your doctor. Very easy and convenient.

The one issue I have is that the calls are consistently late 10+ minutes. And then when you can’t answer as it’s not the time you confirmed, it’s cancelled and you need to rebook. This used to be easy but it seems there is less time available more recently. Today I had a physical appointment which I was a few minutes late for - it was very tricky to find something that was convenient - and while I was waiting in the office I received a notification saying they’d tried to call 10 minutes after my appointment (they didn’t!) and sorry they missed me but would need to reschedule. I went up to the reception team who said the doctor wasn’t able to see me as they have a 10 minute policy. Very annoying as I wasn’t 10 minutes late. If Babylon don’t see people who are a few minutes late and doctors are consistently calling late and missing appointments I dread to think how many aren’t being seen.
