Beehive Money 4+

I have deposited money into an account after recommendation from Martin Lewis. However, every time I want to check my account I have to delete the app and then reload. It just says “invalid page” when I click on the icon! Site is also not the most user friendly! Disappointed! Just trying to publish this review and after 15 different nicknames refused I’m just about to give up!

I found opening a new Beehive account easy. Although there were a number of steps I found it reassuring that I had to prove my ID and set up strong security. I initially used my laptop but it was easy to switch to my phone to send photos of ID and selfie. The app downloaded quickly on my phone and I was able to log in and start using it straight away.
I made a mistake with my opening deposit but I was able to get through to a very helpful lady on customer service quickly who told me what to do and it all worked just as she had said it would.
Highly recommend.

This wasn’t the easiest process and took a few attempts. As has been mentioned a lot of the digital banks details cannot be verified. I had the same problem with Kroo, so deposited a minimal sum from an alternative bank account with my fingers crossed, until I could see it in my beehive account. I noticed that some information on other areas of the site are out of date by two years. In some places. This site needs updating badly. On the positive side savings rate is one of the best ones around at the moment.
