Behance – Creative Portfolios 12+

I liked the last app. Excise you could get a broad sense of what people in your community were bringing to your feed but the new, full-screen ironically puts the blinkers on and narrows your view. It actually isolated you from your sense of the broader Behance community.

For example, if somebody you follow has liked a large number of projects you are forced to scroll one by one instead of being able to get a fast, wide idea before scrolling beyond if it is something that does not appeal.

I feel that it was enough that you saw the projects themselves in full-width.

Great app as ever but this seems like a big step back - especially given the artistic community idea which drives Behance.

Sorry for the complaint, I think Behance is a great forum.

Since updating to iPadOS 14.3 upwards, scrolling has suffered from increasingly serious judder and stutter. Unfortunately this app is no exception, making the scrolling experience a painful one.

I thought that Apple had invested heavily in promotion 120hz display, but apparently they seemed to have forgotten about it as all scrolling seems to run at about 15 to 30 frames a second. For me at least this induces a mild sense of nausea, so wont be using till someone addresses the UI stutter. For those who might ask if the iPad is an old one, it's an iPad Pro 11" 1tb model, so enough Ram and plenty of processor speed.

Other than that, the app is a great place to show art work and creativity off to a growing and passionate community.

I love looking at work and finding projects on Behance it’s inspirational, entertaining and engaging. I do have one problem though.

One big problem I’ve come across is some projects I try and open will load forever, give up and eventually crash, multiple tries won’t work so I’m forced to open the project I’m looking at or looking for on safari instead.
