App failure

Hotel/TUI direct you to use this app as presumably it saves them time and money - and yes there is some useful info on there, albeit sometimes difficult to find. There seems to be the ability to save pages but nowhere to view ur saved pages at a later point (that I could find anyway).

Biggest problem was we arranged via the app a late check out. And got a confirmation message back. We then got unceremoniously booted out of our room as apparently despite the confirmation we were still supposed to confirm with reception and they’d send us a message via the app to that effect - which we never received.

Lesson here is don’t rely on the app - as it doesn’t work for the purpose it’s designed for.

Makes no sense!

We are at Matta village, we got here 14th May, told to go on to app to get info, look at trips, (only had one on there, it’s probably better this week, but had enough of being messed about to look) then told don’t book on line, come to reception to book with TUI rep, then the card machine didn’t work for 2 days! The TUI Blue app is so hard to navigate, it takes a week to work it out. I used the old TUI app to find out some of what I wanted to know!

How to use this app semi-reliable

If you are struggling with the app first download the TUI app if you do not have it and create an account. Link your booking to that app first and fill in your details.

Leave it 24 hours and then download this app and repeat, only way I could get it to work.

Once you have done this the app is very useful and as you would expect. I will add detail once I have returned from holiday………..
