Mixed feelings

On one hand reflects how I really feel but on the other - how, when my recovery tab says my body is in a recovery mode, the overall training zone is “optimal”? Either my body is in recovery and hence needs rest, or it’s recovered and I can exercise. The app effectively says you’re body is in recovery mode but go ahead and exercise anyway! That doesn’t seem right..

Also, there are a few smaller issues with the app which wouldn’t bother me if the app was free eg says “given your HRV of 0” - my HRV isn’t zero but baseline is 45 which the graph above that quoted text shows.

Or the app says I sleep regularly from 4pm till 1am - I have absolutely no clue where it got this range from!

So overall disappointing, as I said if it was free I’d ignore it but if I pay for an app I don’t want to see mistakes like the above. I’ll keep till the end of free trial and then look for sth else.

Not as good as Athlytic

Compared this app with Athlytic. Similar intel in terms of data available, but it less intuitive when it came to journalling/logging activities you did the day before that may have impacted sleep. Athlytic has pre-set questions which helps reduce the admin.

A Fantastic Whoop Alternative

If you have an Apple Watch and want a app that provides you the same data as a whoop without the extortionate price tag this is the one. A few minor bugs but nothing I’m sure they won’t fix soon.
