If you’re an existing Coventry Building Society savings customer, our free-to-use mobile banking app is the simple and secure way to manage your money on the go. Download it today and get an instant view of your accounts, rates & transactions and set up payments, all in a few taps.

It’s quick and easy to get started…

Just download the app, register and log in securely using biometric (face ID or fingerprint), or your preferred method, and you’ll be all set for easier personal banking.

The app’s main features:

View accounts:

If you like to feel in control of your finances, our app is made for you. You’ll find your savings accounts and balances, as well as their current interest rates, so you can see at a glance how your money is growing. And you can look back at up to five years of transactions and check on the progress of any pending payments due to leave your account.

Payments and transfers:
You can use the app to make payments from your savings into your nominated Named Bank Account, with funds arriving by the next working day. Transfers to your other Coventry Building Society accounts are immediate.

Help and feedback:
There’s a handy help section, so you can get support from us if you need it. Here, you can also tell us what you think about the app, including what features you’d like to see in the app in the future.

Settings:
You can even customise the app to light or dark mode, update your security settings, and view your personal details.

Coventry has an app… at last. But why no iPad support?

Finally. It’s a good app. Quick and easy to use. Two issues: 1. Allow us to install and use the app on multiple devices. 2. Add native iPad screen support so that the app utilises the full size of the iPad instead of running in iPhone compatibility mode! Thank you.

Problems with VPNs and DON’T DELETE APP

Unlike my other banking apps, this one comes up with an error message if your phone is connected to a VPN … I didn’t initially realise this was the issue so attempted to delete and reinstall the app to see if that would bring functionality back … this causes the further issue that a new error message appears saying that your account is registered with a difference device … meaning the app you deleted … it suggests you de-register on the “other device” which of course is impossible because the app was deleted. The only solution to this is to go in to a branch or call phone banking. As phone banking apps go, this is pretty unacceptable.

Most VPNs do allow you to set a trusted site or app, it is a security feature of ours that if you can't de-register the app yourself we need to speak to you. Unusable - once deleted you can’t log in again

Very poor app. On first install I continuously got an “oops” message when trying to load the homescreen. Uninstalled to reinstall and now I’m getting a message that the app is registered to a different device? But it’s the same device. I just want to reinstall. How can I unregister my device when the app isn’t even installed. Ridiculous and unworkable loop, and I see many others having the same issue. We have to call customer service everytime we need to log in after a reinstall? I won’t be bothering with this. Very poor first attempt at an app from Coventry…
