Your savings at your fingertips Whether you're already a Coventry Building Society member or new to us, our free-to-use mobile app is a simple and secure way to manage your money on the go. Download our app today to quickly access your accounts, apply for new products, manage your savings, and more in just a few short steps. It’s quick and easy to get started Anyone aged 16 or over and permanently resident in the UK can download our app, view our savings products, and apply to open most savings accounts seamlessly. Our app also allows you to set up a biometric secure login (Face or Fingerprint ID), instead of using a PIN for faster personal banking. Registering in the app When you first download our app we’ll ask you to provide a few basic personal details to get set up and registered with us as an app user. If you already have one of our savings accounts accessed online, please use your usual login and contact details when registering in our app. We’ll also provide you with our app Terms of Use, which also contain links to our Privacy Notices setting out how we will use your personal information. Our app’s main features • View your savings accounts: If you like to feel in control of your savings, our app is made for you. You’ll find your savings accounts and balances, as well as their current interest rates, so you can see at a glance how your money is growing. And you can look back at up to five years of transactions and check on the progress of any pending payments due to leave your account. • Payments and transfers to and from your savings accounts: You can use our app to make payments from your savings into a nominated Named Bank Account, with funds arriving by the next working day (subject to the terms and conditions for your savings account). Transfers to your other Coventry Building Society accounts are immediate subject to your accounts terms and conditions. • Apply for a savings account: Browse and apply for savings accounts directly in our app in just a few short steps. Whatever your savings goals, we’ll help you reach them. From regular savers to fixed term bonds and ISAs, supported by our award-winning service, we’re here for you every step of the way. Please note, all applications for an account with us are subject to acceptance, eligibility, and identity checks. Certain accounts can’t be opened via our app. If you can’t see the account you are looking for, visit our website or contact us. • Mortgages: If you have a Coventry Building Society mortgage with us, you’ll be able to see your mortgage account balance and your next monthly payment in our app too. • Help and feedback: There’s a handy help section with FAQs, so you can get support from us if you need it. App not working (revised)

Revised - Every time I try to log onto the App I get an error message. It’s been like this for weeks now.(New) Having read another review I saw that the App does not like VPNs. Not sure why as I don’t have any issues with any of my other banking Apps. Anyway, I shut off the VPN and then got a message to say my device was not the correct one. Then I needed to phone CBS and they reset my device/account. 30 mins later I was able to access the App. So the App is working, it was just a bit of a rigmarole.

Can’t use the app

I have an online account with cbs so thought I’d try the app. I wish I could give a good rating but I can’t because I can’t even get past the login stage. I keep getting an error message saying there is a technical issue and I need to access my account via a browser. Having read some of the reviews here it became apparent that my problem (perhaps) was because I have a vpn running on my phone. There’s no indication in the app btw that this might be the problem. I turned my vpn off temporarily and managed to get past the login page to then receive another error message saying this account was registered to another device. Well other than my windows laptop where I access cbs via a browser, I don’t have another device where this app installed so I’m stuck. I’ve deleted the app until such time cbs gets its act together both on the vpn issue (which ironically makes me more secure when accessing services) and the device problem. I’ve never had issues like this with other financial apps I use regularly. Sorry Cbs- must do better.

Can’t use the app

Doesn’t work with VPNs

Like an increasing number of people I use a VPN to encrypt my data and protect my online security. Sadly therefore, I never got off first base with this app because it needs to know your location and so a VPN, by definition, is an issue. I just get the ‘oops’ message when trying to register. No other banking app does this to my knowledge. Yes I could turn off my VPN and turn it on again after I’ve finished, but it’s another hassle. This needs a rethink Coventry. Perhaps I’ll try it again in a month or so in the hope common sense has prevailed.Update: Appreciate your developer response but I beg to differ. If I turn off my VPN I can login. As soon as I turn it on again I get the ‘oops’ message again. My VPN is not one that allows exceptions so I’m effectively unable to use this app. It’s simpler to continue to use Safari.

Accidentally deleted now can’t login

Now I can’t the app, because I can’t log back in, the app says I have to register, has a section that says already a customer? Not log in like other apps. I can’t log back in because it says I have to de register my previous device which is this one. There is no choice to log back in just register for on line services which my device is already registered for, as I can see my accounts on line.Please can you sort this out, all I need to do is log back in to the app without any issues to see my accounts without having to go online. It’s also affected the app on my iPad which now will not work I also deleted other banking apps with major banks, and had no trouble in logging back on to their apps and setting.I have an older iPhone that failed and was unable to de register this app on as the phone was stuck in a loop trying to start up. There was no issue when I bought this one and downloaded the app.a
