Great crosswords

I’m really enjoying this. I bought the package and have a huge number of crosswords to get through. They’re not difficult but far from basic with a mix of word knowledge and general knowledge needed. It’s easy to use and satisfying. I also like that it’s mostly British English which so many similar apps aren’t.

Feedback to the app developers: why the focus on German and Canadian geography (endless rivers and states for these two countries!) and also endless versions of marijuana. I had ganja as an answer this morning and both grass and weed yesterday, which is a little much esp as my kids like to play this too. I’d love some wiser general knowledge questions: perhaps I’ll come across them - I’m half way through pack 2. Also some sounds options? Though it’s blissful not having to turn off hideous music as you do with most games! None of this affects you 5 star rating.

A lot of developers could learn from this

This app is fantastic value for money, the crosswords aren’t extremely challenging but aren’t stupidly easy either, and at least there is a little humour in some of the clues.

Another big bonus is the fact that the clues tell you if it is the UK or US spelling. The option to reveal a single letter is also great for days when the brain isn’t working.

Hope we get more developers who don’t resort to bombarding us with ever increasing annoying adverts.

The best crossword App on iOS

I completed all these crosswords a while ago and am now starting again; because there just isn’t enough puzzles to satisfy the dedicated puzzler. Great value for money and would definitely pay again to unlock another bulk pack of crosswords, or possibly even a small fee to get a new one every day. That said, this definitely stands out from the crowd and deserves to earn its money through the support of its users. Would love to see more crosswords being added for purchase!
