DJI GO 4 4+

I purchased the Mavic to enhance my photographic opportunities and i am in early stages of flight. So i will limit my comments to initial reactions. I and many others would like to be able to use the app and controller without being linked to the Mavic for checking and setting up the various options. Then when the mavic is turned on it would synchronise the settings and you can establish all is well before flight. Perhaps you could give this matter some thought. Finally the linking of ios phones can give issues if they are updated before dji catch up!
Please make sure the dji app is updated before the latest ios update is released. You are well aware of the impending updates.

Good app, really stable on my 7plus. Would be good if warnings were in larger font. Great thing would be to have the ability to snip your footage in the viewer to save on space. I always record from takeoff to landing, so flushing out waste (not using the slightly tosh built-in editor) before downloading would be massively valuable, especially when on holiday the app won’t let you download anything larger than 1080p to your iOS device. I’m actually editing in my iPad Pro, because only computer I have than can cope with 4K editing! Please allow download of all content to iOS, please, please. Also ability to turn warning sounds down would be great. Not only is the drone props loud, but beeping away in the corner of a tourist site attracts even more unwanted attention from the anti-drone moaners!

With time I am sure that I will become more adept at quickly applying various settings. As a beginner I check and check again that the settings are appropriate - but as the Drone must be on at the time this has to be done (for me at least) on site and using valuable power. Confidence no doubt plays a big part and I will get quicker, but if the settings on the controller were master settings and updated the Drone as it does it’s self check warm up it would make things more efficient for us newbies. Perhaps there is a good reason for it - but I am sure it’s only a small tweak in your software..... or do the more experienced users set up the Drone one and only rarely go back to check?
Other than that - love it. Great app and brilliant Drone.
