Update Nov2018:
Still stick by my original review below but with one more additional annoying development. Now sometimes when I open the app with the Osmo 2 already on the app crashes my entire phone forcing me to perform a hard reset holding both phone buttons. This is massively annoying when you are trying to shoot something quickly as something that should take a few seconds now takes a good two minutes to reset phone then re-open the app.

Use this with my Osmo 2 gimbal (or I should say I used to) but the biggest problem with it is that it just obliterates my 6S battery. I’m luck if I get a max of 10 minutes recording with it. Really annoying because the app is actually really handy and the editing software is great for knocking out little quick videos. The developers really need to get an update out for this to resolve its various issues. Shame - could have been really good.

As others have stated, app eats battery and crashes phone, and gets very hot, app is very glitchy and you take a chance on all the features working at any one time, active tracking has never worked on my phone, it is running iOS 10.3, maybe that is the problem but app clearly states it will work on iOS 10 and upwards, perhaps this can be remedied but I doubt if developers or even DJI read these reviews, I can’t afford to dump it so I am forced to put up with it, got to admit though that when it works fully, which is rare, it does produce some stunning cinematic footage even from an old iPhone 5s, mind you it doesn’t work fully on my iPhone 8 either, the updated go4 is just as bad, sorry dji i’m very disappointed.

Before you fly a drone, you MUST follow every instructions of how to set the drone up and watch the tutorial videos. Make sure your device is above iOS8. I hear people saying the drone goes up to 30m, that because you set it on beginner mode making the limit range and height short. Also if you never flew a dji drone before, I recommended you use the flight simulator first. Anyway no problems so far.

Update: I notice there was a bug involving the range and height as some people been saying that the drone went up to 30m high and 50m far and that came on my drone. So what I did, I uninstall the app, downloaded it again, log my account in, then I turn my drone on, and then the safety tutorial came on so I completed that and the flight restrictions was lifted. I hope this works for anyone.
