A genuinely useful app that is incredibly helpful when planning to fly and flying drones especially given the ability to request permission to fly in compatible/some restricted zones in app and how it shows power lines and other possible hazards, both of which are extremely helpful. The ability to submit flight plans to the operator panel and have said flight plans show on the public map to alert other drone users is also very useful. However, from the initial settings of the app it may appear that some areas are no-fly zones for drones when you are permitted to fly your drone there unless temporary restrictions have been put in place/it may not be advisable to fly in that zone. But such is clarified in the description of that restricted zone so it is not a major issue.Other than that, I have no issues - especially as the service is provided free of charge.

Oversized check boxes

I have a problem with the white boxes e.g, flight plan, search etc. They are taking up a lot of space on my IPhone Screen. I have seen other users with the main block running along the top of the screen. Whereas mine run from top left to halfway down the screen. With the weather box & flight planning box top right & middle right. They occupy about a third of the screen. Very annoying. Can the developers advise how to change the positions to match what others see? Update:- Had a reply from Altitude Angel. Suggested checking phone settings with regard to font sizes. When I first got the phone I presumably must have changed the setting to enable easier reading of text. Not realising this could change things within an app. All sorted now, for the first time since downloading the app I can see more of the map. Thanks .

Sure, it’s not perfect but if you want to be a responsible drone pilot then using this app will help to make sure you operate within CAA guidelines.
