If you have repeat dispensing prescription (otherwise know as eRD) we've made it much easier to request your medicine. You only need to chat with us if something has changed with your health, if not we'll process your request straight away.
You can now choose to collect your medicines from any LloydsPharmacy store. You can track your requests through the app as normal but your prescription will be processed and dispensed by the store. This is a great option if you need your medicines urgently or would like to speak to an in-store pharmacist.
Stay tuned for more improvements and new features coming soon. As always, drop us a line on firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, queries or suggestions.
Until next time!

Brilliant app - easy to use and great customer service
Have been using this app for several months now. I have a repeat prescription but find it hard to get to a pharmacy due to work commitments. However, it’s a doddle with Echo. Get reminded, place the request, pay through the app and boom! It arrives through the door. (Not with a real explosion - that was for effect!)
Had a hiccup recently, though. Another healthcare app that manages my company medical insurance usurped Echo as my pharmacy of choice declared to my GP surgery. When I tried to order with Echo, the process stalled but Echo kept emailing me to keep me updated. When it came to action required from me, I dealt with Echo customer services and after a couple of promptly answered emails, Echo had sorted out the issue and the app notified me that my prescription was ready for payment. All fixed - great customer support.
There are similar apps out there for this function (and some will change your preferred pharmacy for you, it turns out), but I can’t fault Echo. If any part could be improved, I would like to see a ‘request and authorise payment’ option (rather than it being 2 separate operations separated by a nominal day or two), which preauthorises the payment on the condition that the GP approves the prescription. The next event would then be the prescription coming through the letterbox instead of a second visit to the app to pay once the GP has approved the request.
Developer Response ,

All the best,
Started using this app a few months ago. The app itself was easy to set-up (done in minutes) although my GP surgery & local Lloyd’s Pharmacy didn’t have any recollection of it, I reluctantly put my first request through having had a quick response to my message to Customer Services. To my surprise, it arrived within a matter of days! I’ve had all my prescriptions from them ever since & with no trouble at all. The app itself is easy to navigate and sends reminders of when you’re low on meds, you get a clear history of your orders (which is great to keep track of meds if switching from one to another) and is easy access to your NHS Number which is handy when asking for it whilst calling the hospital, etc. It’s made my life so much easier, not having to go to the GP surgery to request repeats (usually missing deadlines) and pick them up at a later date from the pharmacy (normally waiting around in queues). I means I can actually get on with my life without worrying. I order a lot of meds so thought I might have to wait in for the postman but even on bulk orders, it comes in letterbox friendly recyclable packaging so I can come and go as I please. This really is a great service which I hope will remain this way!
I have 4 ongoing prescriptions that all run out at various intervals . This app has allowed me to keep track of what needs ordering and when , and is amazingly fast with fantastic communication.
It’s taken the stress and hassle of having to drop into the surgery for a repeat prescription, then allowing the surgery 24/48 hours to produce the prescription, then another 24/48 hrs before I can collect it from the designated pharmacy , all of which requires explaining at length what I need , why and when.
Now, it’s just a tap on my phone to confirm I do need the prescription that they’re reminding me of and waiting a couple of days for it to arrive in the post. They communicate all along the way about each stage of the process so you know what’s happening and when to expect it and it requires very little effort at all to get what you need.
My lifestyle is busy and often stressful and this has reduced so much Aggravation for me that I’m really grateful the app exists 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Big thumbs up for me 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
