Seriously whoever was paid to produce this update, was either not paid enough or did it on a Friday. To conceivably think that this is an upgrade on what you had before is beyond belief. On the old app you could find the films at your cinema with ease as you could save it, not anymore. It’s great if you live in Altrincham but not so great if you live in one of the Ws or Ys. Then once you do eventually get to your cinema the process to book just seems to have become faff. From Everyman to Not today fella!! Please look at this and consider making some changes.

No ability to filter *properly* on your local cinema, which makes it incredibly difficult to see what’s actually on and when in the upcoming week. Tickets don’t show up properly in your account (so have to screenshot for seat details etc); no confirmation emails sent; no ability to add to Apple wallet. Also, the back background makes it hard to read anything. Overall, dreadful compared to last version of app. Please sort the glitches quickly!Edit 25/09: in response to the developer response, there is still no ability to add to the Apple Wallet! I’ve just booked a film and it’s not possible (even with the scrolling…). Still no email confirmation, and the ticket info is useless. Any tickets booked before the update have full details including screen and seat number. Any booked after this update just have the day and time of booking. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, logged in and out, waiting for the updates, but no luck! Sorry, it’s still not a good app, sadly. (Still love the cinemas, though - they are definitely 5 star!)

Thanks for the new app, many useful improvements. It looks great, authentication works more reliably, the payment flow is less clunky and it’s a lot easier to see tickets booked and how many membership tickets are remaining. Also great to be able to browse current and upcoming films and add to the watchlist. On the downside being able to tailor the app experience to a local venue no longer seems to work as well as the old app. Selecting a venue on the Hub tab shows films that aren’t showing at my venue (so is either broken or pointless). There’s also no ability to save a favourite venue on the Venue tab so I’m having to search for my local cinema every time to see all the film times for the day I want to visit or to scroll through the calendar to see the dates of special screenings. Please can venue preference be properly applied throughout the new app asap?

This app has recently had an update that’s somehow made it even worse. 1. It doesn’t remember your local cinema (even when logged in). So if you want to know what’s on then you have to go through the “venue” screen, then select your venue… but you better not scroll anywhere or look at the movie details, because it will instantly forget your venue and make you select again.2. The Home Screen is useless. A large selection of movies, in seemingly no order. Pressing on them gives no detail about the film itself. Even more frustratingly is the majority of the time it will give you a message saying either the film isn’t out yet or isn’t available in your area. Even worse is when you see a movie you like, so you add it to watchlist. Only to look and find out that it’s not being screened in your area. Extremely frustrating experience. This should be personalised to only our local cinema.3. Film details - it’s a strangely long number of presses to just find out what a film is about. You can’t get a synopsis unless you press a button to request the synopsis. Why not just have those details on the screen when you select the film in the first place? 4. “Films” tab, similar to above. It is a huge gigantic list of 40 or so films. With only about 10 of them actually available to view in your area in the next month. It’s a huge waste of space and makes the browsing experience so frustrating and confusing.I wouldn’t get this app for any kind of browsing or planning of cinema going. It’s a clumsy and frustrating experience that has left me feeling short changed by Everyman. I didn’t feel that way before until seeing how many movies I CANT access, which this app does a great job of highlighting.
