Evoland 2 4+

This game is actually really good, with great gameplay, aesthetics and music. However, on Lost Isle (a little island with a house where you can find the Ceres card), there seems to be no way off. I can’t figure out a way off the island since there is no dock (you use the flying machine) and pressing attack on all parts of the island takes you into the main area from the over world, so you can’t fly off again. If this could be resolved I would definitely give this game a 5 star rating.

Poor controls and level design really hurt what is otherwise a fun experience. The worst parts are the platformer elements. It’s not just that I actively dislike the platformer genre- these sections are difficult verging on impossible because of the terrible controls and the fact that they’re just really hard, forcing you to die over and over to get through the same boring stretch. It’s a bad platformer but you have no choice but to play these poorly designed levels. You have to time a series of jumps just perfectly using poor controls, and you die impaled on spikes if you get it even slightly wrong, and do this over and over to get through the same stretch. If that doesn’t sound fun to you, you won’t like this game. Whoever designed those levels just doesn’t know what they’re doing.
The game is trying to do too many things, and because of that doing some badly. Like just pick one: either be Zelda or be Mario instead of being a combination of a decent Zelda and a half-assed Mario. And the concept of time traveling is neat but in practice it means that places you want or need to go back to you can’t for long stretches. The game too often tries to be clever instead of just being good. There are parts I enjoy but too many parts I don’t and I’ll probably delete it rather than finish it as a result.

Love this game but after you latest bug fix it’s saying error found will playing I click on continue or ignore but it doesn’t do anything leaving me to I then have to click on end losing where I am in the game.

I’m on the bit w25 where I have just to the last bit fighting the wizard in demonic castle very frustrating that I have to keep trying to beat the bad wizard over and over again that won’t allow me to all because of another bug issue.
