5🌟 I love this app. I have pre-loaded all our car details in the app so that when we turn up, we just get the location number, and the nearest usually appears at the top anyway (if you turn on location service whilst using) select the time required from the drop down, choose the car and click pay! It’s so easy! 5🌟
If you know where you are going, you could even have an advanced look on your phone to see whether the car parks are busy or not.
No more having to queue up at a machine and enter all the details etc. etc., whilst the people behind you are tutting, rolling their eyeballs and checking their watches 😏🙄 meanwhile, you are already walking away and enjoying your day 🙂

After reading some of what must have been earlier reviews, Southend Council obviously listened and fixed the bugs. I got both an email and text immediately confirming payment and parking. Very happy as where I parked was the best value for money than the other alternative. With prices going up all the time, very reasonable pricing is always welcome.

The app works pretty well to book parking, especially the DVLA integration with number plates

My feedback from using it

1) support iPhone X+ style screens. Sorry there is no excuse not to be now seeing as we are 3 years on. The app looks so bad on modern iPhones when you don’t support the screen size natively

2) for registering an account, it’s really not obvious how to accept the terms. Normally tapping a terms button allows you to read it but the actual check box is on the registration form

3) support password managers. You cannot use a password manager to generate a password on your registration screen. Even iOS’s own password manager did not suggest a password. Many will end up having to pick a less secure password simply because the password manager/generator isn’t easily available
