This app is awesome. First found out about it when wanting to park and not having any change and our main town car park not having the ability to pay by card. Yes….Take note OSWESTRY TOWN COUNCIL, SHROPSHIRE!!!!! I mean, in this day and age! Really. Not even a card option????? It’s 2021. Anyway, rant over. Looked on side of ticket machine and saw I could pay by MiPermit app. Downloaded. Never looked back. What’s do great about this app it that you can extend your parking through the app, providing you have data available. Awesome idea. Never need change again in that car park. Admittedly, MiPermit may not be compatible or available in some car parks but this is in use at my town centre car park so definitely get use out of it. Note to everyone. If no change or card option, look in sides of machines or notices for paying by app, text or phone. Thanks MiPermit for an ace app!!!!

Not a bad app, easy to use, could be better, could be worse.I mean it’s not like anyone enjoys paying for parking really is it?Probably feel about the same about it as most other parking apps.On a par with the Dartford Crossing app.Mind you, you should hear the way the parking people go on about it. When you read their annual reports it’s like “ooh, parking app this and parking app that” you’d have thought they’d put the first traffic warden into space the way they go on about it.It’s no big deal these days, there’s a Romanian woman off the Edgware Road, she’s got a 10 year old kid that they bound up with cable ties so it never grew bigger that two feet tall. She uses it for begging. She’s got an app.Torch is a good app, lights the way in the darkness, isn’t mugging you off just to park your car somewhere, honest, decent app. Altruistic almost.You don’t have to forage around in your trouser pockets for change, that’s a plus, unless there’s people about and you need a crafty scratch down there, mind you, I suppose you could do that anyway.If you use it regularly your Bank thinks someone is trying to steal all your money 50p at a time, that’s not good.That’s about all I have to say about it really.

Baldy man player try using it for 2 1/2 years see how you feel then I take it you’re not a resident every resident I’ve spoken to H the new system is worse than having to go into the parking shop and buy permits is set up in such a way that you can’t pay for just one days parking because you are forced to purchase two hourly permits when there are nine hours that need to be paid for so you lose an hour every day you’re not allowed to purchase more than a certain number of permits you’re forced to buy visitor permits when you’re actually a resident so horrendous situation that needs to be sorted the traffic wardens and militants I’ve seen them watch people get out of a car only to put a ticket on it exactly 5 minutes later I was given a ticket even though I was standing there with a valid permit in my hand because it wasn’t in the vehicle they said it didn’t apply so I put it in the vehicle and I continued to write out the ticket. A terrible system designed to screw the motorist and the resident as per usual the Worthing Council

I’m stuck with this app because so many pay and display machines in my area use it. If I had a choice I wouldn’t touch it with two barge poles tied together. The biggest problem is connectivity; unreliable. And you can guarantee it won’t connect when you don’t have any change to pay cash. At least with the Pay-by-Phone app on the (very rare) occasions there’s a problem you can actually call to make a payment over the phone. No such option with MiPermit; if it doesn’t connect, you’re screwed. It’s also a faff to set up. If councils and parking companies offered Pay-by-Phone and MiPermit side by side on the same machines, MiPermit would go out of business.Stop press: I have had a parking ticket because this app told me it was useable in the area in which I had parked. It accepted payment, but when the traffic warden came along it didn’t show up on their system because MiPermit didn’t cover that car park.
