This update includes behind-the-scenes improvements to keep everything running smoothly.

We've made updates to our Confirmation of Payee checks to include existing payees where the reference may be used to route the payment. So if you're paying something like a credit card account, you may not be able to change the reference.

The app can now notify you as soon as your account is credited - things like your salary being paid or a friend sending you money. To get these alerts, make sure you've got your notifications switched on - check in 'Settings.'

The app now tells you the interest rates that apply to your accounts. So you don’t have to log in to online banking or ask your branch for a reminder. Tap any account in the accounts menu (or on your home screen) then 'Account & interest information' to view them.

We've fixed a bug that affected users adding their cards to Apple Pay via the Wallet app.

To help protect your payments, we'll now ask you to choose a purpose when paying a new payee, and give you tailored fraud advice. We've also taken the opportunity to refresh the look and feel of our app.

If you've forgotten your debit or charge card PIN, you can now view it in the app with just a couple of taps. Please remember to hide your screen when you're checking it.

With Face ID and Touch ID log-in, you can now access your Handelsbanken accounts more quickly, more easily and, best of all, more securely.

You can now quickly and easily activate any new cards in the app. In just a few steps, you’ll be ready to use your card straightaway.

If you can't find your card, but don't think it's lost or stolen, you can now temporarily freeze it from within the app. If it turns up, you can then easily unfreeze it!

You are now able to view any active Direct Debits on your account and delete old ones, as well as use your pre-booked FX rate to transfer different currencies between your accounts.

We've refreshed the look and feel of our cards pages and fixed some bugs to improve your experience.

We've also made it possible to view your interest rate on the account details screen, made it easier to manage your overdraft by displaying how much you have left and added the ability to download and share your payment receipts.

Bug fixes for push notification

Our new demo mode means you can try out our app before deciding if it's right for you. Choose 'Menu' from the log in screen and tap 'Start demo mode'. We've also been fixing bugs and making improvements to the design to give you a better experience.

You can now make payments to new beneficiaries, save their details for future use and amend the payment reference for existing beneficiaries. You'll also be able to view your pending card transactions and payments from your accounts screen. We’ve also taken the opportunity to make more of your completed transactions visible, refreshed the log in screen and improved accessibility with a static keypad too.

With our latest release you can now receive real-time notifications to your mobile about your card and payment activity, helping you to keep on top of your transactions and also providing extra protection against fraud.

With our latest release you can now approve your Handelsbanken Card payments through the app when making online purchases. You can also view your Available Balance, which takes into account any pending transactions you've got outstanding, making it easier to manage your finances. Please note that this does not include cheques you have paid in, until they are cleared.
