Obsessed with this app

Love everything about it. Love the plate calculator, the fact you can set a timer between sets, being able to track weights and reps. Seeing what weight and reps I did last time motivates me to do better - and it records a PB for you when you do. Love that I can create my own custom workouts, but it’s easy to reorder, replace specific exercises, create supersets etc on the fly depending on what’s available at the gym that session. Love being able to search for exercises by muscle I want to work. Love that it shows me a heat map of my body based on the number of sets completed for each muscle in the last 30 days. I love that I can see my husbands workouts too and we can cheer each other. I moved over from Strong app because Hevy allows more templates on the free version (I think 4 vs 3) - but I love the whole thing so much more 🥰

The best so far!

I have been looking for an app that helps me track my progress and log my sets so I don’t have to resort to carrying around too much in the gym. I don’t like taking my phone into the gym. My aim is to only take my Apple Watch and my headphones. This limits the distractions. This is the first app that allows me to do this without needing too many workarounds. I can build my routines on the phone. Sync to Apple Watch. I can then start the routine from the watch which most apps require you to start from the phone and the phone to be close to the watch. Not this app. Also it will log the workout too.
I like the fact I can share and post my workouts to my gym buddies too.
Only things that need improvement would be being able to add adhoc workouts to the app. Because outside of the routines you can’t log any random workout you do.
I would also say the calorie tracking isn’t as good as using the standard workouts built into the Apple Watch. As I have done the same workouts In both modes and the built in one seems to track better.
I like the fact you can follow people and copy their workouts. This app is also super simple to use. With some good advanced features. The supersets work well too.

Really good

Love the app I’ve came from strong to see and I ended up liking this app more and abit of me is tempted to pay for the lifetime but still isn’t worth it for me maybe if I go professional. I love where they tell u what weights to put on the bar I know it’s isn’t too hard to workout by it saves time and hassle free but I don’t know if this is just my phone setting or the app but when it comes to typing in the text box there’s auto correction which annoys me bec when working out my hands are shaking and it makes it really hard to type lol but they’re the two things that stands out to me.

I’ve just thought of some more ideas to improve it: • when u look at previous exercises it does tell you how long you’ve rest for. • also have a way to copy the weights or reps ur doing instead of having to change them one by one. • another idea is for the people that are restricted with time and workout the same time every week with the same workout what if you put time stamps of when completed the day before or the week before so you can also keep track of the time as well.
