Great app that really helps manage your visit with wait times in near real time. I also loved that you can book dining both in advance and on the day through the app - saving time in queues and letting you grab extra time on rides or with the characters. Recommend this to first time or frequent visitors and download in advance (as new features are being added regularly) to learn all the little hints and tips it provides. Been 4 times with this app and never been let down. Wish other visitor attractions had such a great app as this.
Dated app and genie + doesn’t work as park too busy

This app is poorly designed and implemented. It’s like an app from 2005. The map is impossible to read and use effectively and the genie and lightening functionality doesn’t really work. The park is simply too busy for the genie to work in the day so you will queue for 8 hours to potentially only see 2 rides. They just let in too many people so even with genie +, where you can only book one at a time, the next opportunity may be hours later. It’s a terrible system made worse by the massive corporate greed of letting 5 x too many people into the park at any one time. The app will also crash and lose settings frequently. By 6pm we’d managed to do 2 main rides and wasted 1.5 hours queuing for one ride that we didn’t get on to because we had to leave for another booking. The only way we managed to do the rides we wanted before leaving was running around randomly between 7pm and midnight and queuing in the standby line as no genie or lightening was available. In short we eventually had fun despite the app and despite the horrendous overcrowding. App and numbers need to be addressed.
What an amazing adventure

We came with our daughter and her partner and our two granddaughters. Our granddaughters did not know our destination until Saturday 30th December but their faces were a delight when we told them. Three days in Disneyland bringing in the New Year we have all had the most wonderful time. Disney certainly put the magic in our Christmas break.
Too busy to be accurate and functional

The App is a good idea but the park was ridiculously busy today and the information provided was largely inaccurate and added to our sense of frustration. As we are a family of five with two young children, we tried to use the App to look for the shorter queues. Unfortunately, the App just directed us to the rides with the longer queues. For lunch, we pre-ordered food for a pick up at 1.50 pm. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told to join the back of a very long queue with other guests. We have just received our food rendering the pre order on the App to be unhelpful and misleading.
Now you can use this app to activate a special Fortnite-integrated mission on the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction at Disneyland Park.
