Don’t know what to make of this app. Probably more mystified that Apple allowed it into the App Store.It doesn’t behave like an iOS app: it has no “footprint” in iOS Settings; I can’t find any way to delete or edit a location on the app Home Screen; no explanations of the different colours used for wind, wind direction, temperature.Perhaps this makes sense to someone familiar with the webpage. As a self contained app, it isn’t doing it for me

I love this app. It’s highly accurate and I trust the information given. I lived and worked in the outer Hebrides for a while and this app was recommended by a genuine fisherman to me so is trustworthy, if it’s good enough for those guys in the Atlantic with all the challenging weather it’s good enough for me. It’s even working well here in South Wales lol, warmer down here probably wetter not as windy or as challenging and boats or planes involved on a day to day basis. It’s worth 5 stars as a weather app in my humble opinion based on experience and some extreme weather conditions.

This app was just what I was looking for following the recent awful revamp of the Met Office app. It has all of the information I need in a clear format without having to click on anything to open new pages etc. So far it’s been every bit as accurate as the Met Office’s own app and it’s free (the ads are small and unobtrusive)! Can’t fault it!

Recommended to me by nearby Scottish Calmac staff. Extremely useful, accurate wind strength & direction (why Calmac staff depend on it) & quite accurate amount of rain. Matched with Apple weather’s rain map predictions for the next hour; & Met Office general situation, weather warnings: gives best info to plan outdoors work & play for several days ahead.
