In the early days of Norton it was in my eyes the worst Antivirus you could ever own. It stopped anything getting through, you had to have turned off more than you had it on just so you could browse. For this reason I stopped using it and steered well clear of it for years. THEN one day I was browsing through and saw an advert for it. I laughed and thought you must be joking! I read the advert all the same and read what it could do nowadays and how it was so much better for browsing, gaming, security & password management. I ummed and arred and thought I’d give it a go again after all these years.WELL, I must admit that this NORTON 360 is a decent bit of kit I tell you. It doesn’t stop everything coming through and it now asks you before it blocks a site, just in case there’s that slight chance it might be dodgy or might be ok. There are some that it will block automatically but I’m fine with that because they ARE dodgy. Security wise I’m over the moon with it! I’ve not felt as safe with my personal information stored and protected by Norton. Passwords, personal information, addresses, accounts etc, it’s just perfect. It optimises your computer for gaming to and it does this all automatically which is great as I don’t have to keep switching to other things to turn them off so I get best results.Thank you Norton for the hard work you’ve put into this product, it truly is AWESOME in my eyes!Bravo team Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏

This product has been great on multiple devices, offering a wide range of functions. It has given me a sense of ease in using my technology with constantly worrying about things happening to it. But it has been a huge stress relief and has very much put me at ease while using it. And the customer service was top tier. I by chance found out i was still subscribed to this when i thought i had left it a bit ago. Not because of any faults with it, but rather I didn’t have the money and I wasn’t using it as much as i once was. But to my surprise i found out i hadn’t and had a big payment for my yearly subscription. So i looked up whether to get a refund, which is clearly shown and well defined on the website. It took only ten minutes with a member of customer support, who was an absolute delight and was very kind and helpful. I very much hope to come back to this service as soon as i am able to.

Slows down internet speed, emails sync, drains mobile data plan

I’ve been using this app for several years and am going to cancel the subscription because the app slows down the internet speed, rolling on sign when trying to sync my emails, slows down AppStore updates, and most importantly this app drains mobile data so much! I checked on mobile data settings and saw that all apps, if summing up, use tiny bit of mobile data in comparison to Norton. During 1 hour of walking outside with WiFi off and not using my phone the Norton used 7GB of data! How it’s possible?!!! If that was an update why not to use WiFi?! The device security feature is ridiculous, all it does is notifying about new iOS version available. I know this because Apple notifies automatically all iOS users. Web protection is not good either. It’s slow, when on public WiFi the VPN is on but droops very few minutes constantly! Not reliable. All Norton does is “bombarding” me every few mins with messages about not secure connection and that VPN was switched on. Still dropping and sends the same messages again and again. I used the Norton app on Mac as well and had to uninstall it because it was slowing down everything sooo much, luckily I have antivirus software from employer. Look, I don’t suggest to leave your device unprotected but please just find a better software. Am going to explore the other software on the market.

I've had it a month and it seems largely to be ok, however it's driving me nuts on Facebook: "you are currently working off line" then "internet connection restored" alternately one then the other for about two minutes, then it stops till you do something, then it starts again, I was nearly able to ignore it but the band takes up a chunk of display area that I to see. Does it on my wife's iPhone too. Both are fully updated.The 5G connection is good and the problem goes away after disabling VPN.My other issue is when I search on google for anything, it won't let me open any pages that use google links so I have to scroll right to the bottom to find none google links. I'd be interested to know if this is a design feature.
