The Peaks Biggest Party! For one weekend a year, the stunning Peak District countryside becomes home to Y Not Festival.
Since 2006, when it began life as an overspilling house party in the deepest, darkest Derbyshire; there has been steady, organic growth.
20 years on, we still have the same ethos at heart. Great people, having a great time, makes a great festival.
With panoramic countryside views, amazing music, comedy and cabaret, family-friendly activities galore, and more quality food and drink than you can shake a stick at... all you need to bring is yourself, some wellies and a killer fancy dress outfit.

To access some of the above features you will need Internet connectivity and be asked to register for an account and give permission for storing your ID on our servers.
ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, go to the menu, tap INFORMATION, then EDIT MY ACCOUNT and tap the “Delete My Account” button. You will then receive an email at the address of your logged in account asking you to confirm your data deletion request.
LOCATION SERVICES
To enable Find-a-Friend to work, you will need to allow the app to access your Contacts as well as location when running in the background.\
BATTERY
Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This App has been designed to minimise the impact on your battery life and in most cases will be unnoticeable, but results may vary based on network conditions and usage.

This app was great it really added to the festival experience. The bios for each band allowed me to explore new bands who I may have ignored. In the past you would have to buy a program to get this info and I would often not get time to read program fully. This app allows quick and easy exploring of bands.Only negative is the app asks to track you and I don’t understand why this is. I feels like to adds a drain on battery which is not needed when your camping with no charger

Let me say straight away, I don’t mind paying if I get good, efficient service and a quality product. So farYNot has let itself down. One single entry point to main and priority car parks so predictably the cars were queuing for several miles in both directions. (Multiple entry points in previous years). Then queued for over an hour for a pointless security check - we had a trolley with multiple bags, the guy literally unzipped one bag and had a 5 second look in before being waved through. We paid extra for priority camping which was obviously completely over sold with nowhere to put up a tent. After 90 mins we were allowed into another field which was itself full by 12:00 on Friday. I pity anyone arriving later today. It’s not rocket science, if you sell more camping spaces, you need to allocate more space! Hopefully the music makes up for it and we will 100% be spending our money elsewhere next year.

An excellent event, the headline acts all delivering with The Prodigy showing why they are a globally recognised band. The festival organisers have definitely upped their game with top notch toilets and showers plus really helpful staff. See you next year
Poor without a data connection

Works okay normally, but many functions require an internet connection and there wasn’t any mobile data on site during the festival, making the app near useless.
