I downloaded Centr when it first came out as I was curious as to how it would be different compared to other apps out there on the market. It’s a good and steady enough app for what it is although personally I do think it is a bit over priced, but I guess when you’ve got an in demand Hollywood A-lister as the co-creator and your given access to the people in his circle you could argue that you can get away charging the prices it does. I do think it needs some updates here and there, I find the blogs and features sections aren’t as streamlined as the rest of the app and it would be good to have them updated a bit more regularly. I think the Centr6 program would benefit more people if the levels of exercise (beginner, intermediate and advanced) had their own separate sections instead of all three on the same screen at the same time, especially with the pace it goes, if your a beginner with no experience and your struggling even with the beginner exercises you can easily fall behind the pace and that can throw you off the whole workout and make you focus more on how fast your getting through the workout (which can easily lead to injury) rather than keeping good form. I also think it would be good to have somewhere to leave feedback on the actual app itself. But yeah on the whole as I said it’s a good enough app that just needs some tweaks here and there to help improve it.
3 days without access
Subrosa01
Edit: the problem has finally been solved but for someone that relied on the app for direction heavily I was lost without it,they sent me a pdf with links to free content to make up for 3 days without access to an app I paid for, that worries me, I have asked several times by email if they would compensate those affected by the "issue suffer globally" and they just sending me the carbon. Copy reply asking me to use the free pdf they sent me. Not a great sign.I paid for a years access and on that day my access was prevented by an issue on their end, I received no email or contact and I couldn’t contact them because that part also didn’t work. I eventually found an email address and contacted them at the end of the 2nd day, they only then sent me the email telling me they were aware of an issue globally. The issue i]has now been fixed as of 10pm UK time which has left me with 3 days completely wasted. I signed up because I really needed the guidance in the gym, at the end of the 2nd day I was sent a pdf that was suppose to guide me through the days without access to the app. I have asked for the 3 days to be compensated to my account but they have not and will not address the issue. If you want to rely on the app I would say that you cannot.
Actually a really good app

I downloaded this about 6 days ago and am still on the free trial. I’ve never tried a fitness app before but I’m quite enjoying using this during quarantine. I’m not sure if it’s a placebo affect but I feel like since I’ve been doing daily workouts I actually am building muscle. I never did any exercise before this and wouldn't exactly say I was fit so set the level to beginner. The workouts it will bring up are pretty challenging but if you really push yourself they are achievable . I like that the planner gives you a different workout every day so that it doesn’t get boring and repetitive (that’s when you might start to give up ). It would be cool if in the workouts it would give you a 40 s timer for each of the sets as I struggle to time in my head . It is very expensive I will admit but for me , I have struggled to keep fit my whole life and I couldn’t really put a price on having a good body and gaining the confidence from that. I accidentally missed the 6 weeks for free during corona (which is very sad given that I’m a broke student) but I really am tempted to pay for another month so I can keep healthy and sane. I really am liking the results so far and think it is worth at least a try :)
Just a few things to work out!

This app is very close to greatness but it does have rough edges. The new program for example is an every day workout. The video has the same exact warm up and cool down every day. It’s just a little cheap to watch the same clip. The rounds of exercise are shown to you and there is a quiet sound to tell you when the next will start. It needs a vocal signal though. If you are down on the floor you can’t see the team getting into the next position then the sound happens and you are already behind. The music overrides it too. The normal workouts need better search ability to select no equipment etc. The Apple Watch functionality is poor also. I had to switch it off. Overall it’s getting there but for a paid app they need to push a bit harder to make it that little bit more premium. Keep going guys. Looking forward to more improvements.I have to say though that I have already seen great results with the new programme. More please!Update: I’ve been following the new program unleashed and it’s a big step in the right direction. The main thing I’m desperate for is an option to have no music so I can play my own. This would be a game changer as my own tunes are way more motivating. Please add a music free option. Overall lots of progress and a good program.
